/ Bloch-Devaux, Brigitte (Louvain U., CP3 ; Birmingham U.) ; Cortina Gil, Eduardo (Louvain U., CP3) ; Minucci, Elisa (Louvain U., CP3 ; Frascati) ; Padolski, Sergey (Louvain U., CP3) ; Petrov, Plamen (Louvain U., CP3) ; Numao, Toshio (TRIUMF) ; Petrov, Yevgeniy (TRIUMF) ; Velghe, Bob (TRIUMF) ; Wong, Vincent Wai Sum (TRIUMF) ; Shang, Victor (TRIUMF) et al.
A search for heavy neutral lepton ($N$) production in $\pi^+\to e^+ N$ in-flight decays using data collected by the NA62 experiment at CERN in 2017-2024 is reported. Upper limits for the extended neutrino mixing matrix element $|U_{e4}|^2$ are established at the level of $10^{-8}$ for heavy neutral leptons with mass in the range 95-126 MeV/$c^2$ and lifetime exceeding 50 ns..

Crystal collimation of heavy-ion beams
/ Redaelli, Stefano (CERN) ; Mazzolari, Andrea (INFN, Pisa) ; Abramov, Andrey (CERN) ; Lechner, Anton (CERN) ; Lindstrom, Bjorn (CERN) ; Mirarchi, Daniele (CERN) ; Matheson, Eloise (CERN) ; Potoine, Jean-Baptiste (IES, Montpellier) ; Dewhurst, Kay (CERN) ; Bandiera, Laura (INFN, Pisa) et al.
An important upgrade programme is planned for the collimation system of Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for lead–ion beams that will already reach their high-luminosity target intensity upgrade in the LHC Run 3 (2022-2025). While certain effects like e-cloud, beam-beam, impedance, inject and dump protection are relaxed with ion beams, halo collimation becomes a challenge, as the conventional multi-stage collimation system is about two orders of magnitude less efficient than for proton beams. Searches for hidden sectors using $K^+\to\pi^+X$ decays
/ Cortina Gil, Eduardo (Louvain U., CP3) ; Jerhot, Jan (Louvain U., CP3 ; Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Minucci, Elisa (Louvain U., CP3 ; Frascati) ; Padolski, Sergey (Louvain U., CP3) ; Petrov, Plamen (Louvain U., CP3) ; Shaikhiev, Artur (Louvain U., CP3 ; Lancaster U.) ; Volpe, Roberta (Louvain U., CP3 ; INFN, Perugia) ; Numao, Toshio (TRIUMF) ; Petrov, Yevgeniy (TRIUMF) ; Velghe, Bob (TRIUMF) et al.
Results from the study of the rare decays $K^+\to\pi^+\nu\bar{\nu}$, $K^{+}\to \pi^{+}\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ and $K^{+}\to\pi^{+}\gamma\gamma$ at the NA62 experiment at CERN are interpreted in terms of improved limits for $B(K^+\to\pi^+X)$ and coupling parameters of hidden-sector models, where X is a mediator. World-leading limits are achieved for dark photon, dark scalar and axion-like particle models..

FCC-ee positron source from conventional to crystal-based
/ Alharthi, Fahad (KACST, Riyadh ; IJCLab, Orsay) ; Chaikovska, Iryna (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Chehab, Robert (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Mytrochenko, Viktor (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Wang, Yuting (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Zhao, Yongke (CERN) ; Bandiera, Laura (INFN, Ferrara) ; Canale, Nicola (INFN, Ferrara) ; Guidi, Vincenzo (INFN, Ferrara ; Ferrara U.) ; Malagutti, Lorenzo (INFN, Ferrara) et al.
The high-luminosity requirement in future lepton colliders imposes a need for a high-intensity positron source. In the conventional scheme, positron beams are obtained by the conversion of bremsstrahlung photons into electron-positron pairs through the interaction between a high-energy electron beam and a high-Z amorphous target. Search for hadronic decays of feebly-interacting particles at NA62
/ NA62 Collaboration
The NA62 experiment at CERN has the capability to collect data in a beam-dump mode, where 400 GeV protons are dumped on an absorber. In this configuration, New Physics particles, including dark photons, dark scalars, and axion-like particles, may be produced in the absorber and decay in the instrumented volume beginning approximately 80 m downstream of the dump. Observation of the $K^+ \to \pi^+ \nu \bar\nu$ decay and measurement of its branching ratio
/ Cortina Gil, Eduardo (Louvain U., CP3) ; Jerhot, Jan (Louvain U., CP3 ; Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Lurkin, Nicolas (Louvain U., CP3) ; Numao, Toshio (TRIUMF) ; Velghe, Bob (TRIUMF) ; Wong, Vincent Wai Sum (TRIUMF) ; Bryman, Douglas (British Columbia U. ; TRIUMF) ; Hives, Zdenko (Charles U.) ; Husek, Tomas (Charles U. ; Birmingham U.) ; Kampf, Karol (Charles U.) et al.
A measurement of the $K^+ \to \pi^+ \nu \bar\nu$ decay by the NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS is presented, using data collected in 2021 and 2022. This dataset was recorded, after modifications to the beamline and detectors, at a higher instantaneous beam intensity with respect to the 2016–2018 data taking. [...]

First detection of a tagged neutrino in the NA62 experiment
/ NA62 Collaboration
The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS reports the first detection of a tagged neutrino candidate based on the data collected in 2022. The candidate consists of a $K^+ \rightarrow \mu^+ \nu_{\mu}$ decay where the charged particles are reconstructed and the neutrino is detected through a charged-current interaction in a liquid krypton calorimeter..
