The ENUBET Monitored Neutrino Beam for High Precision Cross-Section Measurements / ENUBET Collaboration
The main source of systematic uncertainty on neutrino cross-section measurements at the GeV scale originates from the poor knowledge of the initial flux. The goal of reducing this uncertainty to 1% can be achieved through the monitoring of charged leptons produced in association with neutrinos, by properly instrumenting the decay region of a conventional narrow-band neutrino beam. [...]

The Design of the ENUBET Beamline † / ENUBET Collaboration
The ENUBET project aims to reduce the flux-related systematics to 1% on a narrow band neutrino beam through monitoring the associated charged leptons in an instrumented decay tunnel. A key element of the project is the design of a meson transfer line with conventional magnets that maximize the yield of K and while minimizing the total length to reduce meson decay outside the instrumented region. [...]

A central question in strong-interaction physics, governed by quantum chromodynamics (QCD), is whether femto-scale droplets of quark--gluon plasma (QGP) form in small collision systems involving projectiles significantly smaller than heavy ions. Collisions of light ions such as $^{16}$O and $^{20}$Ne offer a unique opportunity to probe the emergence of collective behavior in QCD matter. [...]

High latitude observation of the Forbush decrease during the May 2024 solar storms with muon and neutron detectors on Svalbard / Riggi, F (Unlisted, IT ; INFN, Catania ; U. During the series of intense solar flares and coronal mass ejections, that occurred in May 2024, a remarkable Forbush decrease in the cosmic ray flux was observed on the Earth. While this event was observed by particle detectors around the world, the archipelago of Svalbard was heavily exposed to it due to the weak geomagnetic shielding in the polar region. [...]

First direct access to the $\rho^0$p interaction via correlation studies at the LHC / Abualrob, Ibrahim Jaser (Houston U.) ; Acharya, Shreyasi (INFN, Bari) ; Aglieri Rinella, Gianluca (CERN) ; Aglietta, Luca (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Agnello, Michelangelo (Turin Polytechnic) ; Agrawal, Neelima (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Ahammed, Zubayer (Calcutta, VECC) ; Ahmad, Shakeel (Aligarh Muslim U.) ; Ahuja, Ishaan (Kosice U.) ; Akbar, Zulkaida (Jakarta LIPI, Indonesian Inst. Sci.) et al. /ALICE
Direct measurements of the $\rho^0$p interaction have remained so far elusive, with most insights derived indirectly from photoproduction or low-energy partial wave analyses. This letter presents the first direct observation of the $\rho^0$p interaction, obtained through two-particle correlations measured in high-multiplicity, ultrarelativistic proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV by the ALICE Collaboration at the LHC. Multiplicity dependence of $\Xi_{\rm c}^+$ and $\Xi_{\rm c}^0$ production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / Abualrob, Ibrahim Jaser (Houston U.) ; Acharya, Shreyasi (INFN, Bari) ; Aglieri Rinella, Gianluca (CERN) ; Aglietta, Luca (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Agnello, Michelangelo (Turin Polytechnic) ; Agrawal, Neelima (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Ahammed, Zubayer (Calcutta, VECC) ; Ahmad, Shakeel (Aligarh Muslim U.) ; Ahuja, Ishaan (Kosice U.) ; Akbar, Zulkaida (Jakarta LIPI, Indonesian Inst. The first measurement at midrapidity ($|y|< 0.5$) of the production yield of the strange-charm baryons $\Xi_{\rm c}^+$ and $\Xi_{\rm c}^0$ as a function of charged-particle multiplicity in proton$-$proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC is reported. The $\Xi_{\rm c}^+$ baryon is reconstructed via the $\Xi_{\rm c}^+ \rightarrow \Xi^- \pi^+ \pi^+$ decay channel in the range $ 4 < p_{\rm T} <12$ GeV/$c$, while the $\Xi_{\rm c}^0$ baryon is reconstructed via both the $\Xi_{\rm c}^0 \longrightarrow \Xi^- \pi^+$ and $\Xi_{\rm c}^0 \rightarrow {\rm e}^+ \nu_{\rm e}$ decay channels in the range $2 < p_{\rm T} <12$ GeV/$c$. Search for Quasiparticle Scattering in the Quark-Gluon Plasma with Jet Splittings in pp and Pb-Pb Collisions at sNN=5.02  TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE Collaboration reports measurements of the large relative transverse momentum (kT) component of jet substructure in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sNN=5.02  TeV. Enhancement in the yield of such large-kT emissions in head-on Pb-Pb collisions is predicted to arise from partonic scattering with quasiparticles of the quark-gluon plasma. [...]
