The CMS Magnetic Field Measuring and Monitoring Systems / Klyukhin, Vyacheslav (SINP, Moscow ; CERN) ; Ball, Austin (CERN) ; Bergsma, Felix (CERN) ; Boterenbrood, Henk (NIKHEF, Amsterdam) ; Curé, Benoit (CERN) ; Dattola, Domenico (INFN, Turin ; Polytech. Turin) ; Gaddi, Andrea (CERN) ; Gerwig, Hubert (CERN) ; Hervé, Alain (Wisconsin U., Madison) ; Loveless, Richard (Wisconsin U., Madison) et al.
This review article describes the performance of the magnetic field measuring and monitoring systems for the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector. To cross-check the magnetic flux distribution obtained with the CMS magnet model, four systems for measuring the magnetic flux density in the detector volume were used. [...]

A High Precision 3D Magnetic Field Scanner for Small to Medium Size Magnets / Bergsma, F (CERN) ; Blanc, P H (CERN) ; Garnier, F (CERN) ; Giudici, P A (CERN)
A bench to measure the magnetic field of small to-medium-sized magnets with high precision was built. It uses a small-sized head with three orthogonal Hall probes, supported on a long pole at continuous movement during measurement. [...]

Precision magnetic field mapping for CERN experiment NA62 / Fry, John R (Liverpool U.) ; Ruggiero, Giuseppe (Liverpool U. ; CERN) ; Bergsma, Felix (CERN)
In the CERN experiment NA62, low-mass straw-tube tracking-chambers have been designed to operate in vacuum and, in conjunction with precisely mapped magnetic fields, enable the determination of the trajectories of the charged decay products of a 75 GeV/c K(+) with high accuracy. This is particularly important for the crucial measurement of the branching fraction for the decay K(+) → π (+) ν ν, which has the potential to reveal BSM physics. [...]

The beam and detector of the NA62 experiment at CERN / NA62 Collaboration
NA62 is a fixed-target experiment at the CERN SPS dedicated to measurements of rare kaon decays. Such measurements, like the branching fraction of the $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+} \nu \bar\nu$ decay, have the potential to bring significant insights into new physics processes when comparison is made with precise theoretical predictions. [...]

A dedicated device for measuring the magnetic field of the ND280 magnet in the T2K experiment / Frank, E (Bern U., LHEP) ; Ariga, A (Bern U., LHEP) ; Ariga, T (Bern U., LHEP) ; Bay, F (Bern U., LHEP) ; Bergsma, F (CERN) ; Ereditato, A (Bern U., LHEP) ; Garnier, F (CERN) ; Giudici, P A (CERN) ; Hahn, F (CERN) ; Kehrli, A (CERN) et al.
This paper describes a dedicated device to map the magnetic field of the T2K near detector (ND280) magnet, which runs at a nominal field value of 0.2 T, with an accuracy of the order of a Gauss. A high accuracy mapping is a key ingredient in order to provide the required momentum accuracy in the ND280 time projection chambers (TPCs) allowing T2K to measure precisely the PMNS matrix parameters m(23)(2) and (23). Measurement of the CMS Magnetic Field / Klyukhin, V.I. (SINP, Moscow ; CERN) ; Ball, A. (CERN) ; Bergsma, F. (CERN) ; Campi, D. (CERN) ; Cure, B. (CERN) ; Gaddi, A. (CERN) ; Gerwig, H. (CERN) ; Herve, A. (CERN) ; Korienek, J. (Fermilab) ; Linde, F. (NIKHEF, Amsterdam) et al.
The measurement of the magnetic field in the tracking volume inside the superconducting coil of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector under construction at CERN is done with a fieldmapper designed and produced at Fermilab. The fieldmapper uses 10 3-D B-sensors (Hall probes) developed at NIKHEF and calibrated at CERN to precision 0.05% for a nominal 4 T field. [...]
