ALICE upgrades during the LHC Long Shutdown 2 / ALICE Collaboration
A Large Ion Collider Experiment (ALICE) has been conceived and constructed as a heavy-ion experiment at the LHC. During LHC Runs 1 and 2, it has produced a wide range of physics results using all collision systems available at the LHC. [...]

Jet fragmentation transverse momentum ($j_{\rm T}$) distributions are measured in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p–Pb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed with the ALICE tracking detectors and electromagnetic calorimeter using the anti-kT algorithm with resolution parameter $R$ = 0.4 in the pseudorapidity range $|\eta|$ < 0.25. $\Lambda^+_e$ production in $pp$ and in $p$-Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$=5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production cross section of prompt $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c}$ charmed baryons was measured with the ALICE detector at the LHC at midrapidity in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p-Pb) collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV. The $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c}$ and $\overline{\Lambda}^{-}_{\rm c}$ baryons were reconstructed in the hadronic decay channels $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c} \rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K}^{-}\pi{+}$ and $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c} \rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K}^{0}_{\rm S}$ and respective charge conjugates. The prompt production of the charmed baryon $\Lambda_c^+$ and the $\Lambda_c^+$/D$^0$ production ratios were measured at midrapidity with the ALICE detector in pp and p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. These new measurements show a clear decrease of the Λ+c /D0 ratio with increasing transverse momentum ($p_{T}$) in both collision systems in the range 2 < $p_{T}$ < 12 GeV/$c$, exhibiting similarities with the light-flavour baryon-to-meson ratios p/$\pi$ and $\Lambda$/K$_S$. Jet-associated deuteron production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Deuteron production in high-energy collisions is sensitive to the space-time evolution of the collision system, and is typically described by a coalescence mechanism. For the first time, we present results on jet-associated deuteron production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV, providing an opportunity to test the established picture for deuteron production in events with a hard scattering. $\Upsilon$production and nuclear modification at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5 TeV / Acharya, Shreyasi (Calcutta, VECC) ; Adamova, Dagmar (Rez, Nucl. Phys. The production of $\Upsilon$ mesons in Pb-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5 TeV is measured with the muon spectrometer of ALICE at the LHC. The yields as well as the nuclear modification factors are determined in the forward rapidity region $2.5<y<4.0$, as a function of rapidity, transverse momentum and collision centrality. [...]

Inclusive heavy-flavour production at central and forward rapidity in Xe-Xe collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$=5.44$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The first measurements of the production of muons and electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in Xe--Xe collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.44 TeV, using the ALICE detector at the LHC, are reported. The measurement of the nuclear modification factor $R_{\rm AA}$ is performed as a function of transverse momentum $\pT$ in several centrality classes at forward rapidity ($2.5 < y <4$) and midrapidity ($\vert y \vert < 0.8$) for muons and electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays, respectively. Production of muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays at high transverse momentum in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 and 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of the production of muons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 and 2.76 TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC are reported. The nuclear modification factor $R_{\rm AA}$ at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV is measured at forward rapidity ($2.5 < y <4$) as a function of transverse momentum $p_{\rm T}$ in central, semi-central, and peripheral collisions over a wide $p_{\rm T}$ interval, 3 < $p_{\rm T}$ < 20 GeV/c, in which a significant contribution of muons from beauty-hadron decays is expected at high $p_{\rm T}$. Pseudorapidity distributions of charged particles as a function of mid- and forward rapidity multiplicities in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 5.02, 7 and 13 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The multiplicity dependence of the pseudorapidity density of charged particles in proton--proton (pp) collisions at centre-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$~=~5.02, 7 and 13 TeV measured by ALICE is reported. The analysis relies on track segments measured in the midrapidity range ($|\eta| < 1.5$). [...]

Centrality dependence of J/$\psi$ and $\psi$(2S) production and nuclear modification in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The inclusive production of the J/$\psi$ and $\psi$(2S) charmonium states is studied as a function of centrality in p-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV at the LHC. The measurement is performed in the dimuon decay channel with the ALICE apparatus in the centre-of-mass rapidity intervals $-4.46 < y_{\rm cms} < -2.96$ (Pb-going direction) and $2.03 < y_{\rm cms} < 3.53$ (p-going direction), down to zero transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$).
