Broadening and saturation effects in dijet azimuthal correlations in p-p and p-Pb collisions at the LHC / Kutak, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP)
I report on the recent result of comparison of forward-forward dijet correlations in azimuthal angle as measured by the ATLAS collaboration in the proton-proton and proton-lead collisions to calculations within ITMD factorization framework [1]. The comparison shows that the broadening effect due to interplay of both the gluon saturation and the Sudakov resummation is necessary to describe the data..

Z boson production in proton-lead collisions accounting for transverse momenta of initial partons / Kutak, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP) ; Blanco, Etienne (Cracow, INP) ; Jung, Hannes (CERN ; DESY) ; Kusina, Aleksander (Cracow, INP) ; van Hameren, Andreas (Cracow, INP)
We report on a recent calculation of inclusive Z boson production in proton-lead collisions at theLHC taking into account the transverse momenta of the initial partons [1]. In the calculation the frameworkof $k_T$-factorization has been used. [...]

TMD gluon distributions for multiparton processes / Bury, Marcin (Cracow, INP) ; Kotko, Piotr (Cracow, INP) ; Kutak, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP ; CERN)
We derive gauge invariant operators entering definitions of the Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) gluon distributions, for all five and six parton processes. Our calculations utilize color decomposition of amplitudes in the color flow basis. [...]

Novel tools and observables for jet physics in heavy-ion collisions / Andrews, Harry Arthur (Birmingham U.) ; d'Enterria, David (CERN) ; Apolinario, Liliana (CMAF, Lisbon ; Lisbon, IST) ; Bertens, Redmer Alexander (Tennessee U.) ; Bierlich, Christian (Lund U. ; Bohr Inst.) ; Cacciari, Matteo (Diderot U., Paris ; Paris, LPTHE) ; Chen, Yi (CERN) ; Chien, Yang-Ting (MIT, Cambridge, CTP) ; Mendez, Leticia Cunqueiro (Oak Ridge ; Tennessee U.) ; Deak, Michal (Cracow, INP) et al.
Studies of fully-reconstructed jets in heavy-ion collisions aim at extracting thermodynamical and transport properties of hot and dense QCD matter. Recently, a plethora of new jet substructure observables have been theoretically and experimentally developed that provide novel precise insights on the modifications of the parton radiation pattern induced by a QCD medium. Predictions for cold nuclear matter effects on charged hadrons, identified light hadrons, quarkonium and heavy flavor hadrons, Drell-Yan dileptons, jets, photons, gauge bosons and top quarks produced in $p+$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 8.16$ TeV are compiled and, where possible, compared to each other. Predictions of the normalized ratios of $p+$Pb to $p+p$ cross sections are also presented for most of the observables, providing new insights into the expected role of cold nuclear matter effects. Towards tomography of quark-gluon plasma using double inclusive forward-central jets in Pb-Pb collision / Deák, Michal (Cracow, INP) ; Kutak, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP) ; Tywoniuk, Konrad (CERN)
We propose a new framework, merging High Energy Factorization with final-state jet quenching effects due to interactions in a quark-gluon plasma, to compute di-jet rates at mid- and forward rapidity. It allows to consistently study the interplay of initial-state effects with medium interactions, opening the possibility for understanding the dynamics of hard probes in heavy-ion collisions and the QGP evolution in rapidity..

Single and double inclusive forward jet production at the LHC at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 and 13 TeV / Bury, Marcin (Cracow, INP) ; Deak, Michal (Cracow, INP) ; Kutak, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP) ; Sapeta, Sebastian (Cracow, INP ; CERN)
We provide a description of the transverse momentum spectrum of single inclusive forward jets produced at the LHC, at the center-of-mass energies of 7 and 13 TeV, using the high energy factorization (HEF) framework. We subsequently study double inclusive forward jet production and, in particular, we calculate contributions to azimuthal angle distributions coming from double parton scattering. [...]
