Decoding Chemical Potential Effects at the Kinetic Freeze-Out through Tsallis Non-Extensive Statistics at the LHC / Pradhan, Girija Sankar (Indian Inst. Tech., Indore) ; Sahu, Dushmanta (Indian Inst. Tech., Indore) ; Rath, Rutuparna (INFN, Bologna) ; Sahoo, Raghunath (Indian Inst. Tech., Indore) ; Cleymans, Jean (UCT-CERN Res. Ctr. ; Cape Town U.)
At the LHC energies near chemical freezeout, the chemical potential is expected to be zero due to particles and antiparticles being produced almost in equal numbers. However, considering the same case at the kinetic freezeout temperature is not trivial. [...]

Measurement of (anti)nuclei production in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Measurements of (anti)proton, (anti)deuteron, and (anti)$^3$He production in the rapidity range $-1<y< 0$ as a function of the transverse momentum and event multiplicity in p-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV are presented. The coalescence parameters $B_2$ and $B_3$, measured as a function of the transverse momentum per nucleon and of the mean charged-particle multiplicity density, confirm a smooth evolution from low to high multiplicity across different collision systems and energies. System-size dependence of the charged-particle pseudorapidity density at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV for pp, p-Pb, and Pb-Pb collisions / ALICE Collaboration
We present and compare the charged-particle pseudorapidity densities for pp, p$-$Pb, and Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV measured over a wide pseudorapidity range (${-3.5 <\eta <5}$), using ALICE at the Large Hadron Collider. The distributions for p$-$Pb and Pb$-$Pb collisions are determined as a function of the centrality of the collisions, while results from pp collisions are reported for inelastic events with at least one charged particle at midrapidity. Underlying-event properties in pp and p–Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} $ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
We report about the properties of the underlying event measured with ALICE at the LHC in pp and p$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV. The event activity, quantified by charged-particle number and summed-$p_{\rm T}$ densities, is measured as a function of the leading-particle transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}^{\rm trig}$). [...]

Measurement of anti-$^{3}$He nuclei absorption in matter and impact on their propagation in the Galaxy / ALICE Collaboration
Antimatter particles such as positrons and antiprotons abound in the cosmos. Much less common are light antinuclei, composed of antiprotons and antineutrons, which can be produced in our galaxy via high-energy cosmic-ray collisions with the interstellar medium or could also originate from the annihilation of the still undiscovered dark-matter particles. [...]

Measurement of beauty production via non-prompt D$^{0}$ mesons in Pb-Pb collisions at $ \sqrt{{\textrm{s}}_{\textrm{NN}}} $= 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of non-prompt $\rm D^0$ mesons from beauty-hadron decays was measured at midrapidity ($|y| < 0.5$) in Pb$-$Pb collisions at a nucleon$-$nucleon center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s_{\text{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC. Their nuclear modification factor ($R_{\rm AA}$), measured for the first time down to $p_{\rm T}=1$ GeV/$c$ in the 0$-$10% and 30$-$50% centrality classes, indicates a significant suppression, up to a factor of about three, for $p_{\rm T} > 5$ GeV/$c$ in the 0$-$10% central Pb$-$Pb collisions. Multiplicity dependence of charged-particle jet production in pp collisions at $\mathbf {\sqrt{s}}=\mathbf {13~TeV}$ / ALICE Collaboration
The multiplicity dependence of jet production in pp collisions at the centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 13\ \mathrm{TeV}$ is studied for the first time. Jets are reconstructed from charged particles using the anti-$k_\mathrm{T}$ algorithm with resolution parameters $R$ varying from $0.2$ to $0.7$. [...]

First study of the two-body scattering involving charm hadrons / ALICE Collaboration
This Letter presents the first measurement of the interaction between charm hadrons and nucleons. The two-particle momentum correlations of $\mathrm{pD}^{−}$ and $\overline{\mathrm{p}}\mathrm{D}^{+}$ pairs are measured by the ALICE Collaboration in high-multiplicity pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV. Forward rapidity J/$\psi$ production as a function of charged-particle multiplicity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} =$ 5.02 and 13 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of J/$\psi$ is measured as a function of charged-particle multiplicity at forward rapidity in proton$-$proton (pp) collisions at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s} =$ 5.02 and 13 TeV. The J/$\psi$ mesons are reconstructed via their decay into dimuons in the rapidity interval (2.5 $< y <$ 4.0), whereas the charged-particle multiplicity density (\dnchdeta) is measured at midrapidity $(|\eta| < 1)$. We present the first measurement of event-by-event fluctuations in the kaon sector in Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{\rm NN}}=$ 2.76 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The robust fluctuation correlator $\nu_{\rm dyn}$ is used to evaluate the magnitude of fluctuations of the relative yields of neutral and charged kaons, as well as the relative yields of charged kaons, as a function of collision centrality and selected kinematic ranges.
