Proof of principle for a light dark matter search with low-energy positron beams at NA64 / Andreev, Yu. M. ; Antonov, A. ; Ayala Torres, M. A. ; Banerjee, D. ; Banto Oberhauser, B. ; Bautin, V. ; Bernhard, J. ; Bisio, P. ; Bondì, M. ; Celentano, A. et al.
Thermal light dark matter (LDM) with particle masses in the 1 MeV - 1 GeV range could successfully explain the observed dark matter abundance as a relic from the primordial Universe. In this picture, a new feeble interaction acts as a “portal” between the Standard Model and LDM particles, allowing for the exploration of this paradigm at accelerator experiments. [...]

Dark-Sector Search via Pion-Produced η and η′ Mesons Decaying Invisibly in the NA64h Detector / NA64 Collaboration
We present the first results from a proof-of-concept search for dark sectors via invisible decays of pseudoscalar η and η′ mesons in the NA64h experiment at the CERN SPS. Our novel technique uses the charge-exchange reaction of 50 GeV π- on nuclei of an active target as the source of neutral mesons. [...]

Measurements of hadron production in 90 GeV/c proton-carbon interactions / NA61/SHINE Collaboration
This paper presents the multiplicity of neutral and charged hadrons produced in 90 GeV/c/c proton-carbon interactions from a dataset taken by the NA61/SHINE experiment in 2017. [...]

We report results from a 2018 pilot run to study the feasibility of nuclear fragmentation measurements with the NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN SPS. These results are important for the interpretation of the production of light secondary cosmic-ray nuclei (Li, Be, and B) in the Galaxy. [...]

Shedding light on dark sectors with high-energy muons at the NA64 experiment at the CERN SPS / NA64 Collaboration
A search for Dark Sectors is performed using the unique M2 beam line at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. New particles (XX) could be produced in the bremsstrahlung-like reaction of high energy 160 GeV muons impinging on an active target, μNμNXμNμNX, followed by their decays, XinvisibleXinvisible. [...]

The LHCb detector has undergone a major upgrade for LHC Run 3. This Upgrade I detector facilitates operation at higher luminosity and utilises full-detector information at the LHC collision rate, critically including the use of vertex information. [...]

First constraints on the Lμμ− Lττ explanation of the muon g-2 anomaly from NA64-e at CERN / NA64 Collaboration
The inclusion of an additional U(1)U(1) gauge LμLτLμLτ symmetry would release the tension between the measured and the predicted value of the anomalous muon magnetic moment: this paradigm assumes the existence of a new, light Z vector boson, with dominant coupling to μ and τ leptons and interacting with electrons via a loop mechanism. The LμLτ model can also explain the Dark Matter relic abundance, by assuming that the Z boson acts as a ``portal'' to a new Dark Sector of particles in Nature, not charged under known interactions. K0S meson production in inelastic p+p interactions at 31, 40 and 80 GeV/c beam momentum measured by NA61/SHINE at the CERN SPS / NA61/SHINE Collaboration
Measurements of K0S meson production via its π+π decay mode in inelastic p+p interactions at incident projectile momenta of 31, 40 and 80 GeV/c (sNN=7.7,8.8 and 12.3 GeV, respectively) are presented. The data were recorded by the NA61/SHINE spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. [...]

Search for a critical point of strongly-interacting matter in central 40Ar + 45Sc collisions at 13 A–75 A  GeV/c beam momentum / NA61/SHINE Collaboration
The critical point of strongly interacting matter is searched for at the CERN SPS by the NA61/SHINE experiment in central 40Ar +45Sc collisions at 13A, 19A, 30A, 40A, and 75A GeV/c. The dependence of the second-order scaled factorial moments of proton multiplicity distributions on the number of subdivisions in transverse momentum space is measured. [...]
