Results of the $^{244}$Cm, $^{246}$Cm and $^{248}$Cm neutron-induced capture cross sections measurements at EAR1 and EAR2 of the n_TOF facility / nTOF Collaboration
Accurate neutron capture cross section data for minor actinides (MAs) are required to estimate the production and transmutation rates of MAs in light water reactors, critical fast reactors like Gen-IV systems, and other innovative reactor systems such as accelerator driven systems (ADS). In particular, 244Cm, 246Cm and 248Cm play a role in the transport, storage and transmutation of the nuclear waste of the current nuclear reactors, due to the contribution of these isotopes to the radiotoxicity, neutron emission, and decay heat in the spent nuclear fuel. A new measurement of the $^{235}$U(n,f) fission cross section was carried out at n_TOF. The experiment covered the neutron energy range from 10 MeV up to 500 MeV, and it used the 1H(n,n) cross section as normalization for the neutron fluence measurement. [...]

The Stellar $^{72}$Ge(n, γ) Cross Section for weak s-process: A First Measurement at n_TOF / Dietz, M (Edinburgh U. ; Braunschweig, Phys. Tech. The slow neutron capture process (s-process) is responsible for producing about half of the elemental abundances heavier than iron in the universe. Neutron capture cross sections on stable isotopes are a key nuclear physics input for s-process studies. [...]

Measurement and analysis of the $^{246}$Cm and $^{248}$Cm neutron capture cross-sections at the EAR2 of the n_TOF facility at CERN / n_TOF Collaboration
The $^{246}$Cm(n,$\gamma$) and $^{248}$Cm(n,$\gamma$) cross-sections have been measured at the Experimental Area 2 (EAR2) of the n_TOF facility at CERN with three C$_6$D$_6$ detectors. This measurement is part of a collective effort to improve the capture cross-section data for Minor Actinides (MAs), which are required to estimate the production and transmutation rates of these isotopes in light water reactors and innovative reactor systems. Measurement of the prompt fission $\gamma $-rays from slow neutron-induced fission of $^{235}$U with STEFF / n_TOF Collaboration
The average energy and multiplicity of prompt $\gamma $-rays from slow neutron-induced fission of $^{235}$U have been measured using the STEFF spectrometer at the neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF. The individual responses from 11 NaI scintillators were corrected for multiple $\gamma $-ray interactions, prompt fission neutrons and background counts before being deconvolved to estimate the emitted spectrum of prompt fission $\gamma $-rays. The $^{235}$U(n,f) reaction cross section was measured relative to neutron-proton elastic scattering for the first time in the energy region from 10 MeV to 440 MeV at the CERN n_TOF facility, extending the upper limit of the only previous measurement in the literature by more than 200 MeV. [...]

High-resolution cross section measurements for neutron interactions on $^{89}$Y with incident neutron energies up to 95 keV / Tagliente, G (INFN, Bari) ; Milazzo, P M (INFN, Trieste) ; Paradela, C (Geel, JRC) ; Kopecky, S (Geel, JRC) ; Vescovi, D (INFN, Perugia ; Cagliari Observ.) ; Alaerts, G (Geel, JRC) ; Damone, L A (INFN, Bari ; CERN) ; Heyse, J (Geel, JRC) ; Krtička, M (Charles U.) ; Schillebeeckx, P (Geel, JRC) et al.
The cross section of the $^{89}$Y(n, $\gamma $) reaction has important implications in nuclear astrophysics and for advanced nuclear technology. Given its neutron magic number N = 50 and a consequent small neutron capture cross section, $^{89}$Y represents one of the key nuclides for the stellar s-process. [...]

Measurement of the $^{14}$N(n,p)$^{14}$C cross section at the CERN n_TOF facility from sub-thermal energy to 800 keV / n_TOF Collaboration
Background: The $^{14}$N(n,p)$^{14}$C reaction is of interest in neutron capture therapy, where nitrogen-related dose is the main component due to low-energy neutrons, and in astrophysics, where 14N acts as a neutron poison in the s-process. Several discrepancies remain between the existing data obtained in partial energy ranges: thermal energy, keV region and resonance region. [...]
