Inst.) ; Adam, Wolfgang (Vienna, OAW) ; Andrejkovic, Janik Walter (Vienna, OAW) ; Benato, Lisa (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, Thomas (Vienna, OAW) ; Chatterjee, Suman (Vienna, OAW) ; Damanakis, Konstantinos (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, Marko (Vienna, OAW) ; Hussain, Priya Sajid (Vienna, OAW) et al.
The TOTEM Roman pot detectors are used to reconstruct the transverse momentum of scattered protons and to estimate the transverse location of the primary interaction. This paper presents new methods of track reconstruction, measurements of strip-level detection efficiencies, cross-checks of the LHC beam optics, and detector alignment techniques, along with their application in the selection of signal collision events. Nonresonant central exclusive production of charged-hadron pairs in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV / CMS and TOTEM Collaboration
The central exclusive production of charged-hadron pairs in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is examined, based on data collected in a special high-$ \beta^* $ run of the LHC. The nonresonant continuum processes are studied with the invariant mass of the centrally produced two-pion system in the resonance-free region, $ m_{\pi^{+}\pi^{-}} < $ 0.7 GeV or $ m_{\pi^{+}\pi^{-}} > $ 1.8 GeV. Search for high-mass exclusive diphoton production with tagged protons in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search is presented for high-mass exclusive diphoton production via photon-photon fusion in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV in events where both protons survive the interaction. The analysis utilizes data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 103 fb$ ^{-1} $ collected in 2016--2018 with the central CMS detector and the CMS and TOTEM precision proton spectrometer (PPS). Search for central exclusive production of top quark pairs in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV with tagged protons / CMS Collaboration
A search for the central exclusive production of top quark-antiquark pairs ($ \mathrm{t} \bar{\mathrm{t}} $) is performed for the first time using proton-tagged events in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. A search for new physics in central exclusive production using the missing mass technique with the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometerA search for new physics in central exclusive production using the missing mass technique with the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer / CMS Collaboration
A generic search is presented for the associated production of a Z boson or a photon with an additional unspecified massive particle X, $ \mathrm{p}\mathrm{p}\to \mathrm{p}\mathrm{p} +\mathrm{Z}/\gamma+\mathrm{X} $, in proton-tagged events from proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV, recorded in 2017 with the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer. The missing mass spectrum is analysed in the 600-1600 GeV range and a fit is performed to search for possible deviations from the background expectation. [...]

Search for high-mass exclusive $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{W}\mathrm{W} $ and $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{Z}\mathrm{Z} $ production in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search is performed for exclusive high-mass $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{W}\mathrm{W} $ and $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{Z}\mathrm{Z} $ production in proton-proton collisions using intact forward protons reconstructed in near-beam detectors, with both weak bosons decaying into boosted and merged jets. Characterisation of the dip-bump structure observed in proton–proton elastic scattering at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV / TOTEM Collaboration
The TOTEM collaboration at the CERN LHC has measured the differential cross-section of elastic proton-proton scattering at $\sqrt{s} = 8\ {\rm TeV}$ in the squared four-momentum transfer range $0.2\ {\rm GeV^{2}} < |t| < 1.9\ {\rm GeV^{2}}$. This interval includes the structure with a diffractive minimum ("dip") and a secondary maximum ("bump") that has also been observed at all other LHC energies, where measurements were made. [...]
