Physics perspectives with AFTER@LHC (A Fixed Target ExpeRiment at LHC) / Massacrier, L. (Orsay, IPN) ; Anselmino, M. (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Arnaldi, R. (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Brodsky, S.J. (SLAC) ; Chambert, V. (Orsay, IPN) ; Da Silva, C. (Los Alamos) ; Didelez, J.P. (Orsay, IPN) ; Echevarria, M.G. (INFN, Pavia) ; Ferreiro, E.G. (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Fleuret, F. (Ecole Polytechnique) et al.
AFTER@LHC is an ambitious fixed-target project in order to address open questions in the domain of proton and neutron spins, Quark Gluon Plasma and high-$x$ physics, at the highest energy ever reached in the fixed-target mode. Indeed, thanks to the highly energetic 7 TeV proton and 2.76 A.TeV lead LHC beams, center-of-mass energies as large as $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 115 GeV in pp/pA and $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 72 GeV in AA can be reached, corresponding to an uncharted energy domain between SPS and RHIC. CERN Yellow Report Front Cover Storage ring to search for electric dipole moments of charged particles: Feasibility study / Abusaif, F.
The proposed method exploits charged particles confined as a storage ring beam (proton, deuteron, possibly $^3$He) to search for an intrinsic electric dipole moment (EDM) aligned along the particle spin axis [...]

Single-Transverse-Spin-Asymmetry studies with a fixed-target experiment using the LHC beams (AFTER@LHC) / Lansberg, J.P. (Orsay, IPN) ; Anselmino, M. (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Arnaldi, R. (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Fleuret, F. (Ecole Polytechnique) et al.
We discuss the potential of AFTER@LHC to measure single-transverse-spin asymmetries in open-charm and bottomonium production. With a HERMES-like hydrogen polarised target, such measurements over a year can reach precisions close to the per cent level [...]

A Gas Target Internal to the LHC for the Study of pp Single-Spin Asymmetries and Heavy Ion Collisions / Barschel, Colin (CERN) ; Lenisa, Paolo (Ferrara U. ; INFN, Ferrara) ; Nass, Alexander (Julich, Forschungszentrum) ; Steffens, Erhard (Erlangen - Nuremberg U.)
We discuss the application of an open storage cell as gas target for a proposed LHC fixed-target experiment AFTER@LHC. The target provides a high areal density at minimum gas input, which may be polarized ^1H, ^2H, or ^3He gas or heavy inert gases in a wide mass range. [...]

Transverse-target-spin asymmetry in exclusive $\omega$-meson electroproduction / HERMES Collaboration
Hard exclusive electroproduction of $\omega$ mesons is studied with the HERMES spectrometer at the DESY laboratory by scattering 27.6 GeV positron and electron beams off a transversely polarized hydrogen target. The amplitudes of five azimuthal modulations of the single-spin asymmetry of the cross section with respect to the transverse proton polarization are measured. [...]

Measurement of the Spin–Dependence of the $\overline{p}-p$ Interaction at the AD–Ring / PAX Collaboration
We propose to use an internal polarized hydrogen storage cell gas target in the AD ring to determine for the first time the two total spin–dependent pbar-p cross sections σ1 and σ2 at antiproton beam energies in the range from 50 to 450 MeV. [...]

Luminescence Beam Profile Monitor for the RHIC Polarized Hydrogen Jet Polarimeter / Luciano, Nicholas P ; Makdisi, Yousef ; Nass, Alexander ; Thieberger, Peter ; Trbojevic, Dejan ; Zelenski, Anatoli
This is the second polarized proton run in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) with a new polarized proton jet target used to provide accurate polarization measurements. The interactions between the stored polarized protons with the polarized jet target will produce, in addition to polarization, optical signals due to exited states of Hydrogen or other molecules, ions, or atoms.
