Bump bonded pixel detectors on CVD diamond from RD42 / RD42 Collaboration
Diamond is a nearly ideal material for detecting ionizing radiation. Its outstanding radiation hardness, fast charge collection and low leakage current allow it to be used in high radiation environments. [...]

Recent results of radiation hardness studies on CVD diamond detectors / RD42 Collaboration
The inherent properties of diamond are well suited for use in tracking detectors, especially in the high rate and high radiation environments of future colliders such as the LHC. To survive in this environment, detectors must be radiation hard. [...]

Charge Transport in Non-Irradiated and Irradiated Silicon Detectors / Leroy, C ; Roy, P ; Casse, G L ; Glaser, M ; Grigoriev, E A ; Lemeilleur, F
A model describing the transport of the carriers of the charge deposited in n-type silicon detectors by ionizing particles is presented. In order to reproduce the experimental current pulse responses induced by alpha and beta particles in non-irradiated and irradiated detectors up to fluences ($\Phi$) much beyond the n to p-type inversion, a n-type region 15 microns deep is introduced on the p$^+$ side of the diode. [...]

Leading-order QCD Analysis of Neutrino-Induced Dimuon Events / CHARM II Collaboration
The results of a leading-order QCD analysis of neutrino-induced charm production are presented. They are based on a sample of 4111 $\numu$- and 871 $\anumu$-induced opposite-sign dimuon events with $E_{\mu 1},E_{\mu 2} > 6~{\rm GeV}$, $35 < E_{\nu} < 290~{\rm GeV}$ and $Q^2> 5.5\,{\rm GeV^2}$, observed in the CHARM~II detector exposed to the CERN wideband neutrino and antineutrino beams. Study of charge transport in non-irradiated and irradiated silicon detectors / Leroy, C ; Roy, P ; Casse, G L ; Glaser, M ; Grigoriev, E A ; Lemeilleur, F
The electrical characteristics of non-irradiated and irradiated n-type silicon detectors (p -n -n diode) are extracted by fitting a charge transport model to a set of experimental data obtained from the measurememt of the current pulse response induced by a and b particles. [...]

Study of the evolution ot the active volume in irradiated silicon detectors / Casse, G L ; Grigoriev, E A ; Lemeilleur, F ; Glaser, M /ROSE Collaboration
Red (670 nm) LED light was used to study the charge collection properties of non-irradiated and irradiated n-type silicon detectors. The advantages of red LED, compared to low-range alpha particles, are the availability of an external trigger, and a very shallow distribution of the created electron-hole pairs (< 10 µm). [...]
