Precise QCD Description of the Higgs Boson Transverse Momentum Spectrum
/ Chen, Xuan (U. Zurich (main)) ; Gehrmann, Thomas (U. Zurich (main)) ; Glover, E.W. Nigel (Durham U.) ; Huss, Alexander (CERN) ; Li, Ye (Fermilab) ; Neill, Duff (Los Alamos) ; Schulze, Markus (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Stewart, Iain W. (MIT, Cambridge, CTP) ; Zhu, Hua Xing (Zhejiang U.)
The transverse momentum (pT) distribution of Higgs bosons at hadron colliders enables a detailed probe of its production dynamics and is a key ingredient to precision studies of Higgs boson properties, but receives very large QCD corrections. We obtain a precision prediction for the pT spectrum by matching second-order (NNLO) QCD corrections at large pT with resummation of third-order logarithmic (N3LL) corrections at small pT. [...]

NLO and off-shell effects in top quark mass determinations
/ Heinrich, G. (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Maier, Andreas (CERN) ; Nisius, Richard (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Schlenk, Johannes (Durham U., IPPP) ; Schulze, Markus (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Scyboz, Ludovic (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Winter, Jan (Michigan State U.)
We study the impact of different theoretical descriptions of top quark pair production on top quark mass measurements in the di-lepton channel. To this aim, the full NLO corrections to pp→W+W−b¯b→(e+νe)(μ−¯νμ)b¯b production are compared to calculations in the narrow width approximation, where the production of a top quark pair is calculated at NLO and combined with three different descriptions of the top quark decay: leading order, next-to-leading order and via a parton shower. This report summarises the properties of Standard Model processes at the 100 TeV pp collider. We document the production rates and typical distributions for a number of benchmark Standard Model processes, and discuss new dynamical phenomena arising at the highest energies available at this collider. Constraining anomalous Higgs boson couplings to the heavy flavor fermions using matrix element techniques
/ Gritsan, Andrei V. (Johns Hopkins U.) ; Röntsch, Raoul (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Schulze, Markus (CERN) ; Xiao, Meng (Johns Hopkins U.)
In this paper we investigate anomalous interactions of the Higgs boson with heavy fermions, employing shapes of kinematic distributions. We study the processes pp→t¯t+H, b¯b+H, tq+H, and pp→H→τ+τ−, and present applications of event generation, re-weighting techniques for fast simulation of anomalous couplings, as well as matrix element techniques for optimal sensitivity. Pinning down electroweak dipole operators of the top quark
/ Schulze, Markus (CERN) ; Soreq, Yotam (MIT, Cambridge, CTP)
We consider hadronic top quark pair production and pair production in association with a photon or a Z boson to probe electroweak dipole couplings in t¯bW, t¯tγ and t¯tZ interactions. We demonstrate how measurements of these processes at the 13 TeV LHC can be combined to disentangle and constrain anomalous dipole operators. [...]
