The π+ππ+π Coulomb interaction study and its use in the data processing / Adeva, B. (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Afanasyev, L. (Dubna, JINR) ; Anania, A. (INFN, Messina) ; Aogaki, S. (Bucharest, IFIN-HH) ; Benelli, A. (Prague, Tech. U.) ; Brekhovskikh, V. (Serpukhov, IHEP) ; Cechak, T. (Prague, Tech. U.) ; Chiba, M. (Tokyo Metropolitan U.) ; Chliapnikov, P. (Serpukhov, IHEP) ; Drijard, D. (Prague, Tech. U. ; CERN) et al.
In this work the Coulomb effects (Coulomb correlations) were studied using experimental π+ππ+π pair distributions in QQ, the relative momentum in the pair center of mass system (c.m.s), and its projections QLQL (longitudinal component) and QtQt (transverse component) relative to the pair direction in the laboratory system (l.s.). The major part of the pion pairs is produced by decay of ρ,ωρ,ω and ΔΔ and other short-lived sources (Coulomb pairs). [...]

Hyperon Polarization along the Beam Direction Relative to the Second and Third Harmonic Event Planes in Isobar Collisions at <math display="inline"><mrow><msqrt><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>N</mi><mi>N</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></msqrt><mo>=</mo><mn>200</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>GeV</mi></mrow></math> / STAR Collaboration
The polarization of ΛΛ and ˉΛ¯Λ hyperons along the beam direction has been measured relative to the second and third harmonic event planes in isobar Ru+Ru and Zr+Zr collisions at sNNsNN = 200 GeV. This is the first experimental evidence of the hyperon polarization by the triangular flow originating from the initial density fluctuations. [...]

Search for the chiral magnetic wave using anisotropic flow of identified particles at energies available at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider / STAR Collaboration
The chiral magnetic wave (CMW) has been theorized to propagate in the deconfined nuclear medium formed in high-energy heavy-ion collisions, and to cause a difference in elliptic flow (v2v2) between negatively and positively charged hadrons. Experimental data consistent with the CMW have been reported by the STAR Collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), based on the charge asymmetry dependence of the pion v2v2 from Au+Au collisions at sNNsNN = 27 to 200 GeV. Investigation of K+KK+K pairs in the effective mass region near 2mK2mK / DIRAC Collaboration
The DIRAC experiment at CERN investigated in the reaction p(24 GeV/c)+Nip(24 GeV/c)+Ni the particle pairs K+K,π+πK+K,π+π and pˉpp¯p with relative momentum QQ in the pair system less than 100 MeV/c. Because of background influence studies, DIRAC explored three subsamples of K+KK+K pairs, obtained by subtracting -- using time-of-flight (TOF) technique -- background from initial QQ distributions with K+KK+K sample fractions more than 70%, 50% and 30%. First measurement of a long-lived π+ππ+π atom lifetime / DIRAC Collaboration
The adapted DIRAC experiment at the CERN PS accelerator observed for the first time long-lived hydrogen-like π+ππ+π atoms, produced by protons hitting a beryllium target. A part of these atoms crossed the gap of 96~mm and got broken up in the 2.1~\textmu{}m thick platinum foil. [...]

Femtoscopy: The way back in the energy scale from ALICE to the NICA energies / Batyuk, P (Dubna, JINR) ; Lednicky, R (Dubna, JINR) ; Rogachevsky, O (Dubna, JINR) ; Karpenko, Iu (INFN, Firenze ; BITP, Kiev ; Frankfurt U., FIAS) ; Malinina, L (Lomonosov Moscow State U. ; Dubna, JINR) ; Mikhailov, K (Moscow, ITEP ; Dubna, JINR) ; Wielanek, D (Warsaw U. of Tech.)
The main features of femtoscopy measurements in heavy-ion collisions at high energies are understood as a manifestation of the strong collective flow and well-interpreted within hydrodynamic models with a crossover. In this work, we discuss possibilities for observing the change from a first order phase transition expected at the NICA energies (sNN=411sNN=411 GeV) to a crossover one with the femtoscopy observables using the vHLLE+UrQMD model..

Measurement of the πKπK atom lifetime and the πKπK scattering length / DIRAC Collaboration
After having announced the statistically significant observation (5.6~σσ) of the new exotic πKπK atom, the DIRAC experiment at the CERN proton synchrotron presents the measurement of the corresponding atom lifetime, based on the full πKπK data sample: τ=(5.5+5.02.8)1015sτ=(5.5+5.02.8)1015s. By means of a precise relation (<1%<1%) between atom lifetime and scattering length, the following value for the S-wave isospin-odd πKπK scattering length a0 = 13(a1/2a3/2)a0 = 13(a1/2a3/2) has been derived: |a0|=(0.072+0.0310.020)M1πa0=(0.072+0.0310.020)M1π..

First observation of long-lived π+ππ+π atoms / DIRAC Collaboration
After observing and investigating the double-exotic π+ππ+π atom with the ground state lifetime ττ of about 3×10153×1015~s, the upgraded DIRAC experiment at the CERN PS accelerator observes for the first time long-lived states of the same atom with lifetimes of about 10111011~s and more. The number of characteristic pion pairs resulting from the breakup (ionisation) of long-lived π+ππ+π atoms amounts to 436±61436±61, corresponding to a signal-to-error ratio of better than 7 standard deviations. Updated DIRAC spectrometer at CERN PS for the investigation of ππ and πK atoms / PS212 collaboration
The DIRAC spectrometer installed at CERN PS was redesigned and upgraded in order to study simultaneously Aππ and AπK atoms, namely the bound states of π+π–, and π+K–, π–K+ mesons. The detector system which is able to accept a high intensity beam such as 2 - 6 × 1011 primary protons per second, the electronics and the data-acquisition system adapted to handle very large amount of data actually allowed to identify successfully π, K, p, e and µ and to give the possibility to select π-π and π-K pairs in the off-line analysis.
