/ Barzakh, A (Unlisted) ; Andreyev, A N (JAEA, Ibaraki ; York U., England) ; Yue, Z (York U., England) ; Nies, L (CERN) ; Seliverstov, M D (Unlisted) ; Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Algora, A (Valencia U., IFIC ; KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Andel, B (Comenius U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Al Monthery, M (Unlisted, OM) et al.
The changes in the mean-squared charge radii relative to Bi126209 (δ〈r2〉N,126) and the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments in Bi214−218 have been measured using the in-source resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique at ISOLDE (CERN). Magnetic moments of odd-odd bismuth nuclei have been analyzed by the additivity relation. [...]

/ Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAEA, Ibaraki) ; Barzakh, A E (Unlisted) ; Van Duppen, P (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. The changes in mean-squared charge radii of neutron-deficient gold nuclei have been determined using the in-source, resonance-ionization laser spectroscopy technique, at the ISOLDE facility (CERN). From these new data, nuclear deformations are inferred, revealing a competition between deformed and spherical configurations. [...]

Coulomb excitation of Zn74,76
/ ISOLDE Collaboration
The first experiment using radioactive beams post-accelerated by the HIE-ISOLDE facility has enabled to obtain a precise set of B(E2) transition probabilities in neutron-rich Zn74,76 isotopes. The resulting B(E2; 21+→01+) values are consistent with those determined in earlier REX-ISOLDE measurements. [...]

The Advanced Rare IsotopE Laboratory (ARIEL) will increase TRIUMF’s radioactive ion beam capabilities. As
part of the ARIEL target material research and development campaign, a new method to produce targets of
mixed uranium carbide with excess graphite has been proposed and tested. [...]

Combining laser spectroscopy in a Versatile Arc Discharge and Laser Ion Source, with Penning-trap mass spectrometry at the CERN-ISOLDE facility, this work reports on mean-square charge radii of neutron-rich mercury isotopes across the $N = 126$ shell closure, the electromagnetic moments of $^{207}$Hg and more precise mass values of $^{206-208}$Hg. The odd-even staggering (OES) of the mean square charge radii and the kink at $N = 126$ are analyzed within the framework of covariant density functional theory (CDFT), with comparisons between different functionals to investigate the dependence of the results on the underlying single-particle structure. / Harding, R D (York U., England ; CERN) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) ; Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Van Duppen, P (Leuven U.) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U.) ; Andel, B (Leuven U. ; Comenius U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Cocolios, T E (Leuven U. ; Manchester U.) et al.
A study of the laser-ionized and mass-separated neutron-deficient isotopes $^{176,177,179}$Au was performed using the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source and the Windmill detection setup at ISOLDE, CERN. New and improved data on complex fine-structure α decays of the three isotopes were deduced, providing insight into the low-lying levels in the daughter nuclei $^{172,173,175}$Ir. [...]

The determination of the effective electron neutrino mass via kinematic analysis of beta and electron capture spectra is considered to be model-independent since it relies on energy and momentum conservation. At the same time the precise description of the expected spectrum goes beyond the simple phase space term. [...]
