The intersection of the cosmic and neutrino frontiers is a rich field where much discovery space still remains. Neutrinos play a pivotal role in the hot big bang cosmology, influencing the dynamics of the universe over numerous decades in cosmological history. [...]

Three-flavour neutrino oscillation update / Schwetz, Thomas (CERN) ; Tórtola, Mariam (CFTP, Inst. Sup. Tecnico, Lisboa, Portugal) ; Valle, José W F (AHEP Group, IFIC, CSIC – Univ. de València, Valencia, Spain ; C.S.I.C./Univ)
We review the present status of three-flavour neutrino oscillations, taking into account the latest available neutrino oscillation data presented at the Neutrino 2008 Conference. This includes the data released this summer by the MINOS collaboration, the data of the neutral current counter phase of the SNO solar neutrino experiment, as well as the latest KamLAND and Borexino data. Can OPERA help in constraining neutrino non-standard interactions? / Esteban-Pretel, Andreu (Valencia U.) ; Valle, Jose W.F. (Valencia U.) ; Huber, Patrick (CERN ; Virginia Tech.)
We study how much the unique ability of the OPERA experiment to directly detect \nu_\tau can help in probing new, non-standard contact interactions of the third family of neutrinos. We perform a combined analysis of future, high-statistics MINOS and OPERA data. [...]

Supersymmetry Parameter Analysis : SPA Convention and Project / Aguilar-Saavedra, Juan Antonio (Lisbon, IST) ; Ali, A. (DESY) ; Allanach, Benjamin C. (Cambridge U., DAMTP) ; Arnowitt, Richard L. (LBL, Berkeley) ; Bartl, A. (Vienna U.) et al.
High-precision analyses of supersymmetry parameters aim at reconstructing the fundamental supersymmetric theory and its breaking mechanism. A well defined theoretical framework is needed when higher-order corrections are included. [...]

Standard and nonstandard neutrino properties / Valle, José W F
I review the interpretation of solar and atmospheric neutrino data in terms neutrino oscillations and describe some ways to account for the required neutrino masses and mixing angles from first principles, both within top down and bottom-up approaches. Non-oscillation phenomena such as beta beta /sub 0 nu / probe the absolute scale of neutrino mass, and if found, would reveal the Majorana nature of neutrinos. [...]

Supersymmetric interpretations of the neutrino anomalies / Valle, José W F
Solar and atmospheric neutrino data strongly indicate the need for physics beyond the standard model. The neutrino oscillation interpretation of the atmospheric data is rather unambiguous, with more options still open for the solar data. [...]

Testing neutrino mixing at future collider experiments / Porod, Werner ; Hirsch, M ; Romão, J C ; Valle, José W F
Low energy supersymmetry with bilinear breaking of R-parity leads to a weak-scale seesaw mechanism for the atmospheric neutrino scale and a radiative mechanism for the solar neutrino scale. The model has striking implications for collider searches of supersymmetric particles. [...]

What are we learning about supersymmetry from not having discovered it yet? / Pokorski, Stefan ; Antoniadis, Ignatios ; Ibáñez, L E ; Valle, José W F
We discuss the lower limits on the sparticle and Higgs masses imposed by precision electroweak measurements at LEP, measurements of b to X /sub s/ gamma and searches at LEP2, and the implications of those limits for the minimal supersymmetric standard model. (13 refs)..
