Abstract
In order to reveal the nature of dark matter, it is crucial to detect its non-gravitational interactions with the standard model particles. The traditional dark matter searches focused on the so-called weakly interacting massive particles. [...]

Towards a Muon Collider
/ Accettura, Carlotta (CERN) ; Adams, Dean (Rutherford) ; Agarwal, Rohit (UC, Berkeley (main)) ; Ahdida, Claudia (CERN) ; Aimè, Chiara (Pavia U. ; INFN, Pavia) ; Amapane, Nicola (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Amorim, David (CERN) ; Andreetto, Paolo (INFN, Padua) ; Anulli, Fabio (INFN, Rome) ; Appleby, Robert (Manchester U.) et al.
A muon collider would enable the big jump ahead in energy reach that is needed for a fruitful exploration of fundamental interactions. The challenges of producing muon collisions at high luminosity and 10 TeV centre of mass energy are being investigated by the recently-formed International Muon Collider Collaboration. [...]

The last Complex WIMPs standing
/ Bottaro, Salvatore (Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore ; INFN, Pisa) ; Buttazzo, Dario (INFN, Pisa) ; Costa, Marco (Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore ; INFN, Pisa) ; Franceschini, Roberto (Rome III U. ; INFN, Rome3) ; Panci, Paolo (Pisa U. ; INFN, Pisa) ; Redigolo, Diego (CERN ; INFN, Florence) ; Vittorio, Ludovico (Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore ; INFN, Pisa)
We continue the study of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMP) started in [arXiv:2107.09688], focusing on a single complex electroweak $n$-plet with non-zero hypercharge added to the Standard Model. The minimal splitting between the Dark Matter and its electroweak neutral partner required to circumvent direct detection constraints allows only multiplets with hypercharge smaller or equal to 1. Closing the window on WIMP Dark Matter

We study scenarios where Dark Matter is a weakly interacting particle (WIMP) embedded in an ElectroWeak multiplet. In particular, we consider real SU(2) representations with zero hypercharge, that automatically avoid direct detection constraints from tree-level $Z$-exchange. [...]

Xenon1T excess from electron recoils of non-relativistic Dark Matter
/ Buttazzo, Dario (INFN, Pisa) ; Panci, Paolo (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Teresi, Daniele (Pisa U. ; CERN) ; Ziegler, Robert (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
We show that electron recoils induced by non-relativistic Dark Matter interactions can fit well the recently reported Xenon1T excess, if they are mediated by a light pseudo-scalar in the MeV range. This is due to the favorable momentum-dependence of the resulting scattering rate, which partially compensates the unfavorable kinematics that tends to strongly suppress keV electron recoils. [...]
