Causality constraints on nonlinear supersymmetry / Bonnefoy, Quentin (DESY) ; Casagrande, Gabriele (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; Dudas, Emilian (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT ; CERN)
It is well-known that gravitino propagation in standard supergravities is free of any causality problems. However, two issues related to gravitino propagation were recently uncovered in specific supergravities with nonlinear supersymmetry. [...]

We compute the supersymmetry-breaking three-form fluxes generated by the addition of anti-D3 branes at the tip of a Klebanov-Strassler throat. These fluxes give rise to nontrivial terms in the superpotential when the throat is embedded in a flux compactification. [...]

Strongly coupled strings phenomenology / Dudas, Emilian (CERN ; Paris, LPTHE)
A brief review of the recent developements in the strong coupling regime of string theories and their consequences for phenomenology is given, in particular for string unification and supersymmetry breaking. 219

Large-Field Inflation and Supersymmetry Breaking / Buchmuller, Wilfried (CERN) ; Dudas, Emilian (DESY ; Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; Heurtier, Lucien (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT ; DESY) ; Wieck, Clemens (DESY)
Large-field inflation is an interesting and predictive scenario. Its non-trivial embedding in supergravity was intensively studied in the recent literature, whereas its interplay with supersymmetry breaking has been less thoroughly investigated. [...]

Extra U(1), effective operators, anomalies and dark matter / Dudas, Emilian (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; Heurtier, Lucien (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; Mambrini, Yann (Orsay, LPT) ; Zaldivar, Bryan (Madrid, IFT)
A general analysis is performed on the dimension-six operators mixing an almost hidden Z' to the Standard Model (SM), when the Z' communicates with the SM via heavy mediators. These are fermions charged under both Z' and the SM, while all SM fermions are neutral under Z'. [...]

Low Scale Supersymmetry Breaking and its LHC Signatures / Dudas, Emilian (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT ; CERN) ; Petersson, Christoffer (Brussels U., PTM ; Intl. Solvay Inst., Brussels) ; Tziveloglou, Pantelis (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT)
We study the most general extension of the MSSM Lagrangian that includes scenarios in which supersymmetry is spontaneously broken at a low scale f. The spurion that parametrizes supersymmetry breaking in the MSSM is promoted to a dynamical superfield involving the goldstino, with (and without) its scalar superpartner, the sgoldstino. [...]

Universal contributions to scalar masses from five dimensional supergravity / Dudas, Emilian (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT) ; von Gersdorff, Gero (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT)
We compute the effective Kahler potential for matter fields in warped compactifications, starting from five dimensional gauged supergravity, as a function of the matter fields localization. We show that truncation to zero modes is inconsistent and the tree-level exchange of the massive gravitational multiplet is needed for consistency of the four-dimensional theory. [...]

Relating the CMSSM and SUGRA models with GUT scale and Super-GUT scale Supersymmetry Breaking / Dudas, Emilian (Orsay, LPT ; Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT ; CERN) ; Mambrini, Yann (Orsay, LPT) ; Mustafayev, Azar (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.)
While the constrained minimal supersymmetric standard model (CMSSM) with universal gaugino masses, $m_{1/2}$, scalar masses, $m_0$, and A-terms, $A_0$, defined at some high energy scale (usually taken to be the GUT scale) is motivated by general features of supergravity models, it does not carry all of the constraints imposed by minimal supergravity (mSUGRA). In particular, the CMSSM does not impose a relation between the trilinear and bilinear soft supersymmetry breaking terms, $B_0 = A_0 - m_0$, nor does it impose the relation between the soft scalar masses and the gravitino mass, $m_0 = m_{3/2}$.
