Report on the Advanced Linear Collider Study Group (ALEGRO) Workshop 2024
/ Andriyash, I.A. (Palaiseau, Lab. Opt. Appl.) ; Apsimon, O. (Manchester U.) ; Backhouse, M. (JAI, UK) ; Benedetti, C. (LBL, Berkeley) ; Bulanov, S.S. (LBL, Berkeley) ; Caldwell, A. (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Chen, Min (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Cilento, V. (CERN) ; Corde, S. (Palaiseau, Lab. Opt. Appl.) ; D'Arcy, R. (Oxford U.) et al.
The workshop focused on the application of ANAs to particle physics keeping in mind the ultimate goal of a collider at the energy frontier (10 TeV, e$^+$/e$^-$, e$^-$/e$^-$, or $\gamma\gamma$). [...]

The ATLAS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger: PreProcessor implementation and performance
/ Asman, B (Stockholm U.) ; Achenbach, R (Kirchhoff Inst. Phys.) ; Allbrooke, B M M (Birmingham U.) ; Anders, G (Kirchhoff Inst. Phys.) ; Andrei, V (Kirchhoff Inst. Phys.) ; Buscher, V (Mainz U., Inst. Phys.) ; Bansil, H S (Birmingham U.) ; Barnett, B M (Rutherford) ; Bauss, B (Mainz U., Inst. Phys.) ; Bendtz, K (Stockholm U.) et al.
The PreProcessor system of the ATLAS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger (L1Calo) receives about 7200 analogue signals from the electromagnetic and hadronic components of the calorimetric detector system. Lateral division results in cells which are pre-summed to so-called Trigger Towers of size 0.1 × 0.1 along azimuth (phi) and pseudorapidity (η). [...]

Mono Energetic Beams from Laser Plasma Interactions
/ Geddes, Cameron G ; Cary, John R ; Esarey, Eric ; Leemans, Wim ; Nieter, Chet ; Schröder, Carl B ; Toth, Csaba ; Van Tilborg, Jeroen
A laser driven wakefield accelerator has been tuned to produce high energy electron bunches with low emittance and energy spread by extending the interaction length using a plasma channel. Wakefield accelerators support gradients thousands of times those achievable in RF accelerators, but short acceleration distance, limited by diffraction, has resulted in low energy beams with 100% electron energy spread. [...]

Experimental Progress on a 1 GeV Laser Accelerator at LBNL
/ Leemans, Wim ; Cowan, Thomas ; Esarey, Eric ; Filip, Catalin ; Geddes, Cameron G R ; Gonsalves, Anthony J ; Hooker, Simon ; Michel, Estelle ; Michel, Pierre ; Nagler, Bob et al.
Experimental progress towards the realization of a 1 GeV laser-driven plasma-based accelerator at the LOASIS facility of LBNL will be discussed. The design of the 1 GeV accelerator module consists of two components: (1) an all-optical electron injector and (2) a plasma channel for laser guiding and electron acceleration to high energy via the laser wakefield acceleration (LWFA) mechanism [...]
