Ultra High Energy Neutrino Event KM3-230213A as a Signal of Electroweak Vacuum Turbulence in Merging Black Hole Binaries / Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN) ; Konoplich, Rostislav (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; New York U.) ; Gogberashvili, Merab (Javakhishvili State U. ; Tbilisi, Inst. Phys.)
The recent detection of the ultra-high-energy neutrino event KM3-230213A ($\sim$220 PeV) by KM3NeT telescope poses a challenge to conventional astrophysical models, particularly in light of the absence of similar $\gtrsim$100 PeV events in IceCube data, despite its larger exposure. [...]

Black Holes and Baryon Number Violation: Unveiling the Origins of Early Galaxies and the Low-Mass Gap / Gogberashvili, Merab (Javakhishvili State U. ; Tbilisi, Inst. Phys.) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN)
We propose that modifications to the Higgs potential within a narrow atmospheric layer near the event horizon of an astrophysical black hole could significantly enhance the rate of sphaleron transitions, as well as transform the Chern-Simons number into a dynamic variable. As a result, sphaleron transitions in this region occur without suppression, in contrast to low-temperature conditions, and each transition may generate a substantially greater baryon number than would be produced by winding around the Higgs potential in Minkowski spacetime. Probing Lorentz invariance with a high-energy neutrino flare / Bustamante, Mauricio (Bohr Inst.) ; Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN) ; Konoplich, Rostislav (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; New York U.) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN)
Time-of-flight measurements of high-energy astrophysical neutrinos can be used to probe Lorentz invariance, a pillar of modern physics. If Lorentz-invariance violation (LIV) occurs, it could cause neutrinos to slow down, with the delay scaling linearly or quadratically with their energy. [...]

Primordial Black Holes from Spatially Varying Cosmological Constant Induced by Field Fluctuations in Extra Dimensions / Popov, Arkady A. (Kazan State U.) ; Rubin, Sergey G. (Kazan State U. ; Moscow Phys. Eng. Inst.) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN)
The origin and evolution of supermassive black holes (SMBHs) in our universe have sparked controversy. In this study, we explore the hypothesis that some of these black holes may have seeded from the direct collapse of dark energy domains with density significantly higher than the surrounding regions. [...]

Abstract In order to reveal the nature of dark matter, it is crucial to detect its non-gravitational interactions with the standard model particles. The traditional dark matter searches focused on the so-called weakly interacting massive particles. [...]

Study of exclusive two-body W decays with fully reconstructible kinematics / Bagdatova, Alsu G. (Lebedev Inst.) ; Baranov, Sergey P. (Lebedev Inst.) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN)
In the framework of electroweak theory and perturbative quantum chromodynamics, we examine various exclusive decay channels of $W$ bosons that can be fully or partially reconstructed. Our findings provide predictions for the partial widths and address some gaps in previous literature. [...]

Possible Manifestation of a Non-Pointness of the Electron in $e^+e^-$ Annihilation Reaction at Centre of Mass Energies 55-207 GeV / Chen, Yutao (Hefei, CUST) ; Lin, Chih-Hsun (Taiwan, Inst. Phys.) ; Liu, Minghui (Hefei, CUST) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN) ; Ulbricht, Jürgen (Zurich, ETH) ; Zhao, Jiawei (Hefei, CUST)
The experimental data from VENUS, TOPAS, OPAL, DELPHI, ALEPH and L3 collaborations, collected from 1989 to 2003, are applied to study the QED framework through direct contact interaction terms approach, using the annihilation reaction $\rm e^+ e^-\rightarrow \gamma\gamma(\gamma)$. The analysis involves performing of a $\chi^{2}$ test to detect the presence of an excited electron $e^{*}$ and evidence of non-point like behavior in the $e^+e^-$ annihilation zone. [...]

Higgs Induced Triboluminescence in Binary Black Hole Mergers / Chitishvili, Mariam (Javakhishvili State U.) ; Gogberashvili, Merab (Javakhishvili State U. ; Tbilisi, Inst. Phys.) ; Konoplich, Rostislav (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale) ; Sakharov, Alexander S. (Manhattan Coll., Riverdale ; CERN)
We conjecture that the Higgs potential can be significantly modified when it is in close proximity to the horizon of an astrophysical black hole, leading to the destabilization of the electroweak vacuum. In this situation, the black hole should be encompassed by a shell consisting of a "bowling substance" of the nucleating new phase bubbles. [...]
