First of its kind, the barrel section of the MIP Timing Detector is a large area timing detector based on LYSO:Ce crystals and SiPMs which are required to operate in an unprecedentedly harsh radiation environment (up to an integrated fluence of $2\times10^{14}$ 1 MeV $n_{eq}/cm^2$). It is designed as a key element of the upgrade of the existing CMS detector to provide a time resolution for minimum ionizing particles in the range between 30-60 ps throughout the entire operation at the High Luminosity LHC. Observation of $ \mathrm{W}\mathrm{Z}\gamma $ production and constraints on new physics scenarios in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A measurement of the $ \mathrm{W}\mathrm{Z}\gamma $ triboson production cross section is presented. The analysis is based on a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb$ ^{-1} $. Lepton energy scale and resolution corrections based on an analytical likelihood approach / Couderc, Fabrice (IRFU, Saclay) ; Gaigne, Paul (IRFU, Saclay) ; Sahin, Mehmet Ozgur (IRFU, Saclay)
In this document, we describe a new approach to obtain the energy scale and resolution correction based on the minimization of an analytical likelihood. The energyresolution effect is incorporated with an analytical approach. [...]

Performance of the CMS high-level trigger during LHC Run 2 / CMS Collaboration
The CERN LHC provided proton and heavy ion collisions during its Run 2 operation period from 2015 to 2018. Proton-proton collisions reached a peak instantaneous luminosity of 2.1 $ \times $ 10$^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1} $, twice the initial design value, at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV. [...]

Using graph neural networks to reconstruct charged pion showers in the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter / CMS HGCAL Collaboration
A novel method to reconstruct the energy of hadronic showers in the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) is presented. The HGCAL is a sampling calorimeter with very fine transverse and longitudinal granularity. [...]

Timing Performance of the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter Prototype / CMS HGCAL Collaboration
This paper describes the experience with the calibration, reconstruction and evaluation of the timing capabilities of the CMS HGCAL prototype in the beam tests in 2018. The calibration procedure includes multiple steps and corrections ranging from tens of nanoseconds to a few hundred picoseconds. [...]

Neutron irradiation and electrical characterisation of the first 8” silicon pad sensor prototypes for the CMS calorimeter endcap upgrade / CMS HGCAL Collaboration
As part of its HL-LHC upgrade program, the CMS collaboration is replacing its existing endcap calorimeters with a high-granularity calorimeter (CE). The new calorimeter is a sampling calorimeter with unprecedented transverse and longitudinal readout for both electromagnetic and hadronic compartments. [...]
