Search for Darkonium in $e^+e^-$ Collisions
/ BABAR Collaboration
Collider searches for dark sectors, new particles interacting only feebly with ordinary matter, have largely focused on identifying signatures of new mediators, leaving much of dark sector structures unexplored. In particular, the existence of dark matter bound states (darkonia) remains to be investigated. [...]

A 4-layer design of aerogel threshold counters using two refractive indices was suggested for the particle identification in the forward region of the BaBar detector. Three prototypes filled with the high quality aerogel produced in Novosibirsk were tested at T10 beam at CERN. [...]

In June 2012 a FARICH prototype from Philips Digital Photon Counting (PDPC) based on a photon camera with dimensions of 200×200 mm has been tested at CERN. Remarkable particle separation has been achieved with a 4-layer aerogel sample: the π /K separation at a 6 GeV/ c momentum is 3.5 σ , the μ/π separation is 5.3 σ at 1 GeV/ c . [...]

SuperB
: A High-Luminosity Asymmetric $e^+ e^-$ Super Flavour Factory : Conceptual Design Report
/ Bona, M.
The physics objectives of SuperB, an asymmetric electron-positron collider with a luminosity above 10^36/cm^2/s are described, together with the conceptual design of a novel low emittance design that achieves this performance with wallplug power comparable to that of the current B Factories, and an [...]
