In this work, we study the ($S$, $P$ and $D$)-wave $K^+K^-$ contributions to $B\to KKK$ decays in the perturbative QCD approach at leading order. Within the two-meson wave functions describing the nonperturbative dynamics in the kaon-pair for different waves, we calculate the branching fractions and the direct $CP$ asymmetries of these decay modes in the corresponding resonance regions. The self-modulation instability is fundamental for the plasma wakefield acceleration experiment of the AWAKE (Advanced Wakefield Experiment) collaboration at CERN where this effect is used to generate proton bunches for the resonant excitation of high acceleration fields. Utilizing the availability of flexible electron beam shaping together with excellent diagnostics including an RF deflector, a supporting experiment was set up at the electron accelerator PITZ (Photo Injector Test facility at DESY, Zeuthen site), given that the underlying physics is the same. We present an analysis of non-leptonic B decays in the minimally flavour-violating MSSM with large tan(beta). We relate the Wilson coefficients of the relevant hadronic scalar operators to leptonic observables, showing that the present limits on the Bs->mu+ mu- and B+->tau nu_tau branching fractions exclude any visible effect in hadronic decays.
