Clarity through the Neutrino Fog: Constraining New Forces in Dark Matter Detectors
/ Blanco-Mas, Pablo (Madrid, Autonoma U.) ; Coloma, Pilar (Madrid, Autonoma U.) ; Herrera, Gonzalo (Virginia Tech.) ; Huber, Patrick (Virginia Tech.) ; Kopp, Joachim (CERN ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Shoemaker, Ian M. (Virginia Tech.) ; Tabrizi, Zahra (CERN ; Pittsburgh U.)
The PANDAX-4T and XENONnT experiments present indications of Coherent Elastic Neutrino Nucleus Scattering (CE$ν$NS) from ${}^{8}$B solar neutrinos at 2.6$σ$ and 2.7$σ$, respectively. This constitutes the first observation of the neutrino "floor" or "fog", an irreducible background that future dark matter searches in terrestrial detectors will have to contend with. [...]

Charged-current non-standard neutrino interactions at Daya Bay
/ Daya Bay Collaboration
The full data set of the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment is used to probe the effect of the charged current non-standard interactions (CC-NSI) on neutrino oscillation experiments. Two different approaches are applied and constraints on the corresponding CC-NSI parameters are obtained with the neutrino flux taken from the Huber-Mueller model with a $5\%$ uncertainty. [...]

Particle physics using reactor antineutrinos
/ CHANDLER Collaboration
Nuclear reactors are uniquely powerful, abundant, and flavor-pure sources of antineutrinos that continue to play a vital role in the US neutrino physics program. The US reactor antineutrino physics community is a diverse interest group encompassing many detection technologies and many particle physics topics, including Standard Model and short-baseline oscillations, BSM physics searches, and reactor flux and spectrum modeling. Neutrinos are the Standard Model (SM) particles which we understand the least, often due to how weakly they interact with the other SM particles. Beyond this, very little is known about interactions among the neutrinos, i.e., their self-interactions. [...]
