Precision studies of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix offer a very important testbed of the Standard Model (SM).In light of new inputs and measurements, in this proceeding we review the status of the Unitarity Triangle as a fundamental tool to uncover New Physics. We report the results of the latest SM global fits performed by the UTfit Collaboration including all the up-to-date experimental and theoretical inputs as for the Summer 2023 release. We also update the stringent constraints on New Physics from the generalized $|\Delta F| = 2$ effective Hamiltonian. New UTfit Analysis of the Unitarity Triangle in the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa scheme / UTfit Collaboration
Flavour mixing and CP violation as measured in weak decays and mixing of neutral mesons are a fundamental tool to test the Standard Model (SM) and to search for new physics. New analyses performed at the LHC experiment open an unprecedented insight into the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) metrology and new evidence for rare decays. [...]

Updated measurement of decay-time-dependent CP asymmetries in $D^0 \to K^+K^-$ and $D^0 \to \pi^+\pi^-$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
A search for decay-time-dependent charge-parity ($CP$) asymmetry in $D^0 \to K^+K^-$ and $D^0 \to \pi^+\pi^-$ decays is performed at the LHCb experiment using proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13TeV, and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4fb$^{-1}$. The $D^0$ mesons are required to originate from semileptonic decays of $b$ hadrons, such that the charge of the muon identifies the flavor of the neutral $D$ meson at production. [...]

Search for the doubly charmed baryon $\Xi_{cc}^{+}$ / LHCb Collaboration
A search for the doubly charmed baryon $\Xi_{cc}^{+}$ is performed through its decay to the $\Lambda_c^+ K^- \pi^+$ final state, using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13$\mathrm{\,Te\kern -0.1em V}$. The data correspond to a total integrated luminosity of $9\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. [...]

Amplitude analysis of the $B^+ \to \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^-$ decay / LHCb Collaboration
The results of an amplitude analysis of the charmless three-body decay $B^+ \to \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^-$, in which $CP$-violation effects are taken into account, are reported. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3 \; {\rm fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions recorded with the LHCb detector. [...]

Observation of several sources of $CP$ violation in $B^+ \to \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^-$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
Observations are reported of different sources of $CP$ violation from an amplitude analysis of $B^+ \to \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^-$ decays, based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3 \; {\rm fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions recorded with the LHCb detector. A large $CP$ asymmetry is observed in the decay amplitude involving the tensor $f_2(1270)$ resonance, and in addition significant $CP$ violation is found in the $\pi^+ \pi^-$ S-wave at low invariant mass.
