The AEgIS Experiment: Progress and Future Outlook / AEgIS Collaboration
The AEgIS experiment at CERN is pioneering measurements of gravity, spectroscopy, and interferometry using pulsed antimatter atomic sources. This work provides an overview of the AEgIS experimental setupand highlights recent advancements in antihydrogen production, positronium laser cooling, and the creation of antiprotonic atoms. [...]

Prospects for forward emitted positronium from nanoporous membranes at AEgIS / AEgIS Collaboration
Antihydrogen formation at AEgIS at CERN leverages charge exchange between Rydberg positronium (Ps*) and antiprotons, with cross-sections scaling with the Ps principal quantum number $n^4$ and inversely with relative velocity $v^{-2}$. However, the motional Stark effect and velocity mismatch between Ps and antiprotons impose stringent constraints, limiting efficiency. [...]

3D Simulation studies of mixed plasma confinement at $AE \overline{g}IS$ / AEgIS Collaboration
The $ AE\bar{g}IS$ (Antimatter Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry and Spectroscopy) project, based at CERN's Antiproton Decelerator (AD) facility seeks to probe the Weak Equivalence Principle (WEP) for antimatter. It has undergone significant enhancements, capitalizing on the increased quantity of colder antiprotons made available by the Extra Low Energy Antiproton Ring (ELENA) decelerator [...]

In the context of the Antihydrogen Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy (AEgIS) located at CERN, positron-positronium converters with a high positron-positronium conversion efficiency have been designed in both reflection and transmission geometries. The converters utilize nanochanneled silicon target technology with positron conversion efficiencies up to around 50% and around 16%, at room temperature and in the absence of magnetic fields, for reflection and transmission respectively. Modern physics experiments are frequently very complex, relying on multiple simultaneous events to happen in order to obtain the desired result. The experiment control system plays a central role in orchestrating the measurement setup: However, its development is often treated as secondary with respect to the hardware, its importance becoming evident only during the operational phase. CIRCUS: an autonomous control system for antimatter, atomic and quantum physics experiments / AEgIS Collaboration
A powerful and robust control system is a crucial, often neglected, pillar of any modern, complex physics experiment that requires the management of a multitude of different devices and their precise time synchronisation. The AEgIS collaboration presents CIRCUS, a novel, autonomous control system optimised for time-critical experiments such as those at CERN's Antiproton Decelerator and, more broadly, in atomic and quantum physics research. We report on laser cooling of a large fraction of positronium (Ps) in free-flight by strongly saturating the $1^3S$-$2^3P$ transition with a broadband, long-pulsed 243 nm alexandrite laser. The ground state Ps cloud is produced in a magnetic and electric field-free environment. [...]
