First demonstration of in-beam performance of bent Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors / ALICE ITS project Collaboration
A novel approach for designing the next generation of vertex detectors foresees to employ wafer-scale sensors that can be bent to truly cylindrical geometries after thinning them to thicknesses of 20-40$\mu$m. To solidify this concept, the feasibility of operating bent MAPS was demonstrated using 1.5$\times$3cm ALPIDE chips. [...]

Measurement of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays as a function of multiplicity in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The multiplicity dependence of electron production from heavy-flavour hadron decays as a function of transverse momentum was measured in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. The measurement was performed in the centre-of-mass rapidity interval $-1.07 < y_{\rm cms} < 0.14$ and transverse momentum interval 2 $< p_{\rm T} <$ 16 GeV/$c$. [...]

$\rm{K}^{*}(892)^{0}$ and $\rm{\phi(1020)}$ production at midrapidity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of $\rm{K}^{*}(\rm{892})^{0}$ and $\phi(1020)$ in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV were measured using Run 1 data collected by the ALICE collaboration at the LHC. The $p_{\rm{T}}$-differential yields d$^{\rm 2}N$/d$y$d$p_{\rm{T}}$ in the range 0 $< $ $p_{\rm{T}}$ $ < $ 20 GeV/$c$ for $\rm{K}^{*0}$ and 0.4 $<$ $p_{\rm{T}}$ $<$ 16 GeV/$c$ for $\phi$ have been measured at midrapidity $|y|$ $<$ 0.5. Production of charged pions, kaons and (anti-)protons in Pb-Pb and inelastic pp collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Mid-rapidity production of $\pi^{\pm}$, $\rm{K}^{\pm}$ and ($\overline{\rm{p}}$)p measured by the ALICE experiment at the LHC, in Pb-Pb and inelastic pp collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV, is presented. The invariant yields are measured over a wide transverse momentum ($p_{\rm{T}}$) range from hundreds of MeV/$c$ up to 20 GeV/$c$. [...]

Measurement of electrons from semileptonic heavy-flavour hadron decays at midrapidity in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The differential invariant cross section as a function of transverse momentum ($p_\rm{T}$) of electrons from semileptonic heavy-flavour hadron decays was measured at mid-rapidity in proton-proton (pp) collisions at $\sqrt{s}=5.02$ TeV in the $p_\rm{T}$ interval 0.5-10 GeV/$c$, as well as the invariant yield in central (0-10%), semi-central (30-50%) and peripheral (60-80%) lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}=5.02\text{ TeV}$ in the $p_\rm{T}$ intervals 0.5-26 GeV/$c$ (0-10% and 30-50%) and 0.5-10 GeV/$c$ (60-80%). The modification of the electron yield with respect to what is expected for an incoherent superposition of nucleon--nucleon collisions is evaluated by measuring the nuclear modification factor $R_{\mathrm{AA}}$. The inclusive J/$\psi$ production in Pb-Pb collisions at the center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV, measured with the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC, is reported. The J/$\psi$ meson is reconstructed via the dimuon decay channel at forward rapidity ($2.5< y <4$) down to zero transverse momentum. [...]
