β- and α-decay spectroscopy of Au182
/ ISOLDE Decay Station Collaboration
An α- and β-decay study of a pure source of laser-ionized and mass-separated Au182 (Z = 79, N = 103) was carried out at the ISOLDE Decay Station at the ISOLDE-CERN facility. Detailed γ-γ analysis following EC/β+ decay of Au182 was performed, and the level scheme of daughter nuclide Pt182 was considerably extended via the identification of 125 new levels and 336 new γ-ray transitions. The process of β-delayed fission (βDF) of Fr230,232 and Ac230,232,234 was studied in an experiment performed at the ISOLDE facility at CERN. As no fission fragments were observed for any of the nuclei investigated, upper limits for their βDF probability (PβDF) were determined. [...]

8B reaction dynamics researched at HIE-ISOLDE
/ Spartà, R (INFN, Catania) ; DiPietro, A (INFN, Catania) ; Figuera, P (INFN, Catania) ; Tengblad, O (Madrid, Inst. Estructura Materia) ; Moro, A M (INFN, Catania) ; Lei, J (Tongji U.) ; Martel, I (Huelva U.) ; Garcia, J P Fernandez (INFN, Catania) ; Acosta, L (INFN, Catania) ; Borge, M J G (Madrid, Inst. Estructura Materia) et al.
For the first time a measurement of 8B + 64Zn reaction has been performed at HIE-ISOLDE at CERN at energies around the Coulomb barrier, to understand how the debated halo structure of the light nucleus can affect reaction dynamics..

Compound-Nucleus and Doorway-State Decays of $\beta$-delayed Neutron Emitters $^{51, 52, 53}\mathrm{K}$
/ Xu, Z Y (Tennessee U.) ; Grzywacz, R (Tennessee U. ; Oak Ridge) ; Gottardo, A (IJCLab, Orsay ; INFN, Legnaro) ; Madurga, M (Tennessee U.) ; Alonso, I M (Madrid, Inst. Estructura Materia) ; Cap, T (NCBJ, Warsaw) ; Costache, C (Bucharest, IFIN-HH) et al.
We investigated decays of $^{51, 52, 53}\mathrm{K}$ at the ISOLDE Decay Station at CERN in order to understand the mechanism of the $\beta$-delayed neutron-emission ($\beta n$) process. The experiment quantified neutron and $\gamma$-ray emission paths for each precursor [...]

The $^{76}$Cu conundrum remains unsolved
/ IDS Collaboration
Near the doubly-magic nucleus \nuc{Ni}{78} ($Z=28$, $N=50$), there has been a decades-long debate on the existence of a long-lived isomer in \nuc{Cu}{76}. A recent mass measurement claimed to have settled the debate, by measuring the energy of the isomer and shedding light on the structure of the nucleus. [...]

Charge radii of thallium isotopes near the N=126 shell closure
/ IDS Collaboration
The changes in the mean-squared charge radius of Tlg209 (N=128) and Tlm207 (N=126) relative to Tl205 have been measured for the first time using the in-source laser resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique with the Laser Ion Source and Trap (LIST) at ISOLDE (CERN). The application of the LIST suppresses the dominant background from isobaric francium isotopes and allows access to thallium nuclides with A⩾207. [...]
