A detailed description of the integration structures for the barrel region of the silicon strips tracker of the ATLAS Phase-II upgrade for the upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider, the so-called High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), is presented. This paper focuses on one of the latest demonstrator prototypes recently assembled, with numerous unique features. [...]

Search for lepton flavour violation in the $e\mu$ continuum with the ATLAS detector in $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV pp collisions at the LHC / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper presents a search for the t-channel exchange of an R-parity violating scalar top quark ($\tilde{t}$) in the $e^{\pm}\mu^{\pm}$ continuum using 2.1/fb of data collected by the ATLAS detector in $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV pp collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. Data are found to be consistent with the expectation from the Standard Model backgrounds. [...]

Search for anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking with the ATLAS detector based on a disappearing-track signature in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
In models of anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking (AMSB), the lightest chargino is predicted to have a lifetime long enough to be detected in collider experiments. This letter explores AMSB scenarios in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV by attempting to identify decaying charginos which result in tracks that appear to have few associated hits in the outer region of the tracking system. [...]

Search for decays of stopped, long-lived particles from 7 TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
New metastable massive particles with electric and colour charge are features of many theories beyond the Standard Model. A search is performed for long-lived gluino-based R-hadrons with the ATLAS detector at the LHC using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 31 pb^-1. [...]

Measurement of the top quark pair production cross-section with ATLAS in the single lepton channel / ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the production cross-section for top quark pairs ($t\bar{t}$) in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV is presented using data recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events are selected in the single lepton topology by requiring an electron or muon, large missing transverse momentum and at least three jets. [...]

Study of jets produced in association with a W boson in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
We report a study of final states containing a W boson and hadronic jets, produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The data were collected with the ATLAS detector at the CERN LHC and comprise the full 2010 data sample of 36 pb$^{-1}$. [...]

Search for heavy vector-like quarks coupling to light quarks in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This letter presents a search for singly produced vector-like quarks, Q, coupling to light quarks, q. The search is sensitive to both charged current (CC) and neutral current (NC) processes, p p --> Q q --> W q q' and p p --> Q q --> Z q q' with a leptonic decay of the vector gauge boson. [...]

Progress with the single-sided module prototypes for the ATLAS tracker upgrade stave / Allport, P P (Liverpool U.) ; O'Shea, V (Glasgow U.) ; Wiik, L (Brookhaven) ; Dressnandt, N (Pennsylvania U.) ; Matheson, J (Rutherford) ; Li, Z (Brookhaven) ; Viehhauser, G (Oxford U.) ; Gallop, B (Rutherford) ; Jones, T J (Liverpool U.) ; Dwuznik, M (AGH-UST, Cracow) et al.
The ATLAS experiment is preparing for the planned luminosity upgrade of the LHC (the super-luminous LHC or sLHC) with a programme of development for tracking able to withstand an order of greater magnitude radiation fluence and much greater hit occupancy rates than the current detector. This has led to the concept of an all-silicon tracker with an enhanced performance pixel-based inner region and short-strips for much of the higher radii. [...]
