A Linear Collider Vision for the Future of Particle Physics
/ Linear Collider Vision Collaboration
In this paper we review the physics opportunities at linear $e^+e^-$ colliders with a special focus on high centre-of-mass energies and beam polarisation, take a fresh look at the various accelerator technologies available or under development and, for the first time, discuss how a facility first equipped with a technology mature today could be upgraded with technologies of tomorrow to reach much higher energies and/or luminosities. Full NLO QCD corrections to Higgs-pair production in the Standard Model and beyond
/ Baglio, Julien (CERN) ; Campanario, Francisco (Valencia U., IFIC ; Karlsruhe U., ITP) ; Glaus, Seraina (Karlsruhe U., ITP ; Karlsruhe U.) ; Mühlleitner, Milada Margarete (Karlsruhe U., ITP) ; Ronca, Jonathan (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Spira, Michael (PSI, Villigen)
Higgs-pair production is one of the targets of the high-luminosity LHC and of future hadron colliders, as it allows for a direct probe of the trilinear Higgs coupling and hence of the mechanism behind electroweak symmetry breaking. This contribution focuses on the impact of the full next- to-leading order QCD corrections to Higgs-pair production via gluon fusion, the main production mechanism at hadron colliders, in the Standard Model and in Two-Higgs-Doublet models. (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) et al.
A comprehensive review of physics at an e+e- Linear Collider in the energy range of sqrt{s}=92 GeV--3 TeV is presented in view of recent and expected LHC results, experiments from low energy as well as astroparticle physics. The report focuses in particular on Higgs boson, Top quark and electroweak precision physics, but also discusses several models of beyond the Standard Model physics such as Supersymmetry, little Higgs models and extra gauge bosons. The connection to cosmology has been analyzed as well..

A new implementation of the NMSSM Higgs boson decays

Supersymmetric theories provide elegant extensions of the Standard Model. Among these the NMSSM is a model which in addition to the content of the MSSM includes a new singlet to solve the mu problem. [...]

The Hunt for New Physics at the Large Hadron Collider

The Large Hadron Collider presents an unprecedented opportunity to probe the realm of new physics in the TeV region and shed light on some of the core unresolved issues of particle physics. These include the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking, the origin of mass, the possible constituent of cold dark matter, new sources of CP violation needed to explain the baryon excess in the universe, the possible existence of extra gauge groups and extra matter, and importantly the path Nature chooses to resolve the hierarchy problem - is it supersymmetry or extra dimensions.
