The properties of the experimental data on the hypercharge- exchange reactions pi N to K Sigma , K Lambda and KN to pi Sigma , pi Lambda in the region (4/16)GeV/c are surveyed, with attention to line-reversal inequalities, reaction energy dependences in terms of effective trajectories, phase-energy properties, and SU/sub 3/ for exchanges. The s-channel helicity nonflip amplitudes at 4 and 14 GeV/c are determined, assuming an exchange degenerate K/sub V/*-K/sub T/* Regge- pole approximation for the flip amplitudes. [...]

$\pi$ exchange, $\delta$ production and meson-meson scattering / Irving, A C (CERN)
A method of extracting amplitude components from charge exchange processes of the form 0/sup -/N to 0/sup -/0/sup -/ Delta or 0/sup -/N to 1/sup -/ Delta by using the full decay distributions is proposed. The processes pi /sup +/p to rho /sup 0/ Delta /sup ++/, omega Delta /sup ++/ are analysed as a simple application and some properties of pi and B exchange are discussed. [...]
