Probing proton halo effects in the $^8$B+$^{64}$Zn collision around the Coulomb barrier / Spartà, R (Catania U. ; INFN, Catania) ; Di Pietro, A (INFN, Catania) ; Figuera, P (INFN, Catania) ; Tengblad, O (CSIC, Madrid) ; Moro, A M (Seville U.) ; Martel, I (Huelva U.) ; Fernández-García, J P (Seville U.) ; Lei, Jin (INFN, Pisa) ; Acosta, L (Mexico U. ; INFN, Catania) ; Borge, M J (CSIC, Madrid) et al.
Proton halo effects in the 8B+64Zn reaction at an energy around 1.5 times the Coulomb barrier have been studied at HIE-ISOLDE CERN using, for the first time, the only existing postaccelerated 8B beam. This, together with the use of a high granularity and large solid angle detection system, allowed for a careful mapping of the elastic angular distribution, especially in the Coulomb-nuclear interference region. The DArk Matter Particle Explorer mission / DAMPE Collaboration
The DArk Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE), one of the four scientific space science missions within the framework of the Strategic Pioneer Program on Space Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a general purpose high energy cosmic-ray and gamma-ray observatory, which was successfully launched on December 17th, 2015 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The DAMPE scientific objectives include the study of galactic cosmic rays up to $\sim 10$ TeV and hundreds of TeV for electrons/gammas and nuclei respectively, and the search for dark matter signatures in their spectra. Beam test evaluation of electromagnetic calorimeter modules made from proton-damaged PbWO$_4$ crystals / Adams, T (Florida State U., Tallahassee (main)) ; Adzic, P (Belgrade U.) ; Ahuja, S (Sao Paulo, IFT) ; Anderson, D (Caltech) ; Andrews, M B (Carnegie Mellon U.) ; Antropov, I (Ecole Polytechnique) ; Antunovic, Z (Split U.) ; Arcidiacono, R (INFN, Turin ; Moscow, ITEP) ; Arenton, M W (Virginia U.) ; Argiro, S (INFN, Turin ; Moscow, ITEP) et al.
The performance of electromagnetic calorimeter modules made of proton-irradiated PbWO(4) crystals has been studied in beam tests. The modules, similar to those used in the Endcaps of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL), were formed from 5×5 matrices of PbWO(4) crystals, which had previously been exposed to 24 GeV protons up to integrated fluences between 2.1× 10(13) and 1.3× 10(14) cm(−)(2). Measurement of the mass difference between top quark and antiquark in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV / CMS Collaboration
The invariance of the standard model (SM) under the CPT transformation predicts equality of particle and antiparticle masses. This prediction is tested by measuring the mass difference between the top quark and antiquark (Delta m[t] = m[t] - m[t-bar]) that are produced in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV, using events with a muon or an electron and at least four jets in the final state. Measurement of the differential cross section for top quark pair production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} =$ 8 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The normalized differential cross section for top quark pair ($ \mathrm{ t \bar{t} } $) production is measured in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV at the CERN LHC using the CMS detector in data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb$^{-1}$. The measurements are performed in the lepton+jets (e/$ \mu $+jets) and in the dilepton (ee, $ \mu \mu $, and e$ \mu $) decay channels. [...]

Measurement of diffractive dissociation cross sections in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ =7 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Measurements of diffractive dissociation cross sections in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV are presented in kinematic regions defined by the masses $M_X$ and $M_Y$ of the two final-state hadronic systems separated by the largest rapidity gap in the event. Differential cross sections are measured as a function of $\xi_X= M^2_X/s$ in the region $\log_{10}\xi_X$ between $-5.5$ and $-2.5$, for $\log_{10}M_Y$ lower than $0.5$, dominated by single dissociation (SD), and $\log_{10}M_Y$ between $0.5$ and $1.1$, dominated by double dissociation (DD), where $M_X$ and $M_Y$ are given in GeV. Search for physics beyond the standard model in dilepton mass spectra in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Dimuon and dielectron mass spectra, obtained from data resulting from proton-proton collisions at 8 TeV and recorded by the CMS experiment, are used to search for both narrow resonances and broad deviations from standard model predictions. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 20.6 (19.7) fb$^{-1}$ for the dimuon (dielectron) channel. [...]

Measurement of the inclusive 3-jet production differential cross section in proton-proton collisions at 7 TeV and determination of the strong coupling constant in the TeV range / CMS Collaboration
This paper presents a measurement of the inclusive 3-jet production differential cross section at a proton-proton centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the CMS detector. The analysis is based on the three jets with the highest transverse momenta. [...]
