We present the study of the production of double $J/\psi$ mesons using COMPASS data collected with a 190 $\GeV/c$ $\pi^-$ beam scattering off NH$_{3}$, Al and W targets. Kinematic distributions of the collected double $J/\psi$ events are analysed, and the double $J/\psi$ production cross section is estimated for each of the COMPASS targets. [...]

Resolving the SELEX–LHCb double-charm baryon conflict: the impact of intrinsic heavy-quark hadroproduction and supersymmetric light-front holographic QCD / Brodsky, S.J. (SLAC) ; Groote, S. (Tartu, Inst. Phys.) ; Koshkarev, S. (Tartu, Inst. Phys.)
In this paper we show that the intrinsic heavy-quark QCD mechanism for the hadroproduction of heavy hadrons at large $x_F$ can resolve the apparent conflict between measurements of double-charm baryons by the SELEX fixed-target experiment and the LHCb experiment at the LHC collider.
