Prospects for searches of $b \to s \nu \bar{\nu}$ decays at FCC-eeProspects for searches of $ b\to s\nu \overline{\nu} $ decays at FCC-ee / Amhis, Yasmine (IJCLab, Orsay ; CERN) ; Kenzie, Matthew (Cambridge U.) ; Reboud, Méril (Durham U., IPPP) ; Wiederhold, Aidan R. (Warwick U.)
We investigate the physics reach and potential for the study of various decays involving a $b \to s \nu \bar{\nu}$ transition at the Future Circular Collider running electron-positron collisions at the $Z$-pole (FCC-ee). Signal and background candidates, which involve inclusive $Z$ contributions from $b\bar{b}$, $c\bar{c}$ and $uds$ final states, are simulated for a proposed multi-purpose detector. [...]

In recent years, theoretical and phenomenological studies with effective field theories have become a trending and prolific line of research in the field of high-energy physics. In order to discuss present and future prospects concerning automated tools in this field, the SMEFT-Tools 2022 workshop was held at the University of Zurich from 14th-16th September 2022. [...]

Amplitude analysis of the $\Lambda^+_c\to pK^-\pi^+$ decay and $\Lambda^+_c$ baryon polarization measurement in semileptonic beauty hadron decays / LHCb Collaboration
An amplitude analysis of $\Lambda^+_c \to pK^-\pi^+$ decays together with a measurement of the $\Lambda^+_c$ polarization vector in semileptonic beauty hadron decays is presented. A sample of $400\,000$ candidates is selected from proton-proton collisions recorded by the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. [...]

Dispersive analysis of Λ$_{b}$ → Λ(1520) local form factors / Amhis, Yasmine (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Bordone, Marzia (CERN) ; Reboud, Méril (Munich, Tech. U.)
We perform an analysis of $\Lb\to\L(1520)$ local form factors. We use dispersive techniques to provide a model-independent parametrisation of the form factors that can be used in the whole kinematic region. [...]

Search for the rare hadronic decay $B_s^0\to p \bar{p}$ / LHCb Collaboration
A search for the rare hadronic decay $B_s^0\to p \bar{p}$ is performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb$^{-1}$. No evidence of the decay is found and an upper limit on its branching fraction is set at ${\cal B}(B_s^0\to p \bar{p}) < 4.4~(5.1) \times 10^{-9}$ at 90% (95%) confidence level; this is currently the world's best upper limit. Search for $CP$ violation using $\hat{T}$-odd correlations in $B^{0} \to p \bar p K^{+} \pi^{-}$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
A search for $CP$ and $P$ violation in charmless four-body $B^{0} \to p \bar p K^{+} \pi^{-}$ decays is performed using triple-product asymmetry observables. It is based on proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of $7$, $8$ and $13$ TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of $8.4$ fb$^{-1}$. Evidence for modification of $b$ quark hadronization in high-multiplicity $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / LHCb Collaboration
The production rate of $B^{0}_{s}$ mesons relative to $B^{0}$ mesons is measured by the LHCb experiment in $pp$ collisions at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV over the forward rapidity interval $2 < y < 4.5$ as a function of the charged particle multiplicity measured in the event. Evidence at the 3.4$\sigma$ level is found for an increase of the ratio of $B^{0}_{s}$ to $B^{0}$ cross-sections with multiplicity at transverse momenta below 6 GeV/$c$, with no significant multiplicity dependence at higher transverse momentum. Measurement of CP asymmetries in $ {D}_{(s)}^{+}\to \eta {\pi}^{+} $ and $ {D}_{(s)}^{+}\to {\eta}^{\prime }{\pi}^{+} $ decays / LHCb Collaboration
Searches for $CP$ violation in the decays $D^+_{(s)}\rightarrow \eta \pi^+$ and $D^+_{(s)}\rightarrow \eta^{\prime} \pi^+$ are performed using $pp$ collision data corresponding to 6 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected by the LHCb experiment. The calibration channels $D^+_{(s)}\rightarrow \phi \pi^+$ are used to remove production and detection asymmetries. [...]

Observation of sizeable $\omega$ contribution to $\chi_{c1}(3872) \to \pi^+\pi^- J/\psi$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
Resonant structures in the dipion mass spectrum from $\chi_{c1}(3872)\to\pi^+\pi^- J/\psi$ decays, produced via $B^+\to K^+\chi_{c1}(3872)$ decays, are analyzed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$. A sizeable contribution from the isospin conserving $\chi_{c1}(3872)\to\omega J/\psi$ decay is established for the first time, $(21.4\pm2.3\pm2.0)\%$, with a significance of more than $7.1\sigma$. The nuclear modification factor of neutral pions is measured in proton-lead collisions collected at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon of $8.16$ TeV with the LHCb detector. The $\pi^0$ production cross section is measured differentially in transverse momentum ($p_{T}$) for $1.5< p_{T} <10.0$ GeV and in center-of-mass pseudorapidity ($\eta_{CM}$) regions $2.5<\eta_{CM}<3.5$ (forward) and $-4.0<\eta_{CM}<-3.0$ (backward) defined relative to the proton beam direction.
