Experimental investigation of exotic clustering in $^{13}$B and $^{14}$C using the resonance scattering method
/ Di Pietro, A (INFN, LNS) ; Fernández-García, J P (INFN, LNS ; Catania U.) ; Ferrera, F (INFN, LNS) ; Figuera, P (INFN, LNS) ; Fisichella, M (INFN, LNS) ; Lattuada, M (INFN, LNS ; Catania U.) ; Marletta, S (INFN, LNS) ; Marchetta, C (INFN, LNS) ; Torresi, D (INFN, LNS ; Catania U.) ; Alcorta, M (TRIUMF) et al.
In order to investigate the existence of molecular and/or exotic cluster configurations in Boron and Carbon n-rich isotopes we undertook two experiments: the first experimental study of exotic 9Li+α cluster states in 13B using the resonance scattering method at TRIUMF (Canada), and, with the same technique, the measurement of 10Be+α scattering at LNS in Catania, where a 10Be radioactive beam was produced for the first time. In order to measure the excitation function in a wide energy range, the beams were stopped in a Helium-flooded chamber. [...]

Study Of 9 Li-alpha Cluster States In 13B Using The Resonant Scattering Method
/ Fernandez-Garcia, Juan Pablo ; Di Pietro, A ; Fisichella, M ; Alcorta, M ; Borge, M J G (CERN) ; Davinson, T ; Figuera, P ; Laird, A ; Lattuada, M ; Shotter, A C et al.
In order to investigate the compound nucleus 13B, the excitation function of the resonant reaction 4He(9Li,α) was measured. This measurement was carried out using the thick target inverse kinematics scattering technique, with a thick 4He gas target and a 9Li beam. [...]

Investigation of Cluster States in $^{13}$B Using the $^{9}$Li-$\alpha $ Resonant Elastic Scattering
/ Di Pietro, A (INFN, LNS) ; Fernandez-Garcia, J P (INFN, LNS ; Catania U.) ; Fisichella, M (INFN, LNS) ; Alcorta, M (TRIUMF) ; Borge, M J G (CERN ; Madrid, Inst. The excitation function of the resonant reaction 4He(9Li,α) was measured with the aim of investigating the compound nucleus 13B. These measurements were performed in inverse kinematics at center-of-mass scattering angles close to 180◦ by using a thick 4He gas target and a 9Li beam. [...]

The underlying physics triggering core collapse supernovae is not fully understood but observations of material ejected during such events helps to solve this puzzle. In particular, several satellite based γ -ray observations of the isotope 44 Ti have been reported recently [...]
