The Baksan Experiment on Sterile Transitions (BEST) was designed to investigate the deficit of electron neutrinos, $\nu_{e}$, observed in previous gallium-based radiochemical measurements with high-intensity neutrino sources, commonly referred to as the \textit{gallium anomaly}, which could be interpreted as evidence for oscillations between $\nu_e$ and sterile neutrino ($\nu_s$) states. Charged-particle tracking with high spatial and temporal resolution using capillary arrays filled with liquid scintillator / Martellotti, Giuseppe (Rome U. ; INFN, Rome) ; Annis, P (Brussels U., IIHE) ; Brunner, J (CERN) ; Buontempo, S (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; de Jong, Maarten (Nikhef, Amsterdam) ; Depedis, D (Rome U. ; INFN, Rome) ; Ereditato, A (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Fabre, Jean-Paul (CERN) ; Frekers, D (Munster U.) ; Frenkel, Annette (Rome U. ; INFN, Rome) et al.
We developed a new technique that allows the trajectories of ionizing particles to be imaged with very high spatial and temporal resolution. This technique, developed for future experiments in high-energy physics, may also be applied in other field. [...]

Search for magnetic monopoles with the MoEDAL forward trapping detector in 2.11 fb$^{-1}$ of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC / MoEDAL Collaboration
We update our previous search for trapped magnetic monopoles in LHC Run 2 using nearly six times more integrated luminosity and including additional models for the interpretation of the data. The MoEDAL forward trapping detector, comprising 222~kg of aluminium samples, was exposed to 2.11~fb$^{-1}$ of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions near the LHCb interaction point and analysed by searching for induced persistent currents after passage through a superconducting magnetometer. Search for magnetic monopoles with the MoEDAL forward trapping detector in 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC / The MoEDAL collaboration
MoEDAL is designed to identify new physics in the form of long-lived highly-ionising particles produced in high-energy LHC collisions. Its arrays of plastic nuclear-track detectors and aluminium trapping volumes provide two independent passive detection techniques. [...]

Search for magnetic monopoles with the MoEDAL prototype trapping detector in 8 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC / MoEDAL Collaboration
The MoEDAL experiment is designed to search for magnetic monopoles and other highly-ionising particles produced in high-energy collisions at the LHC. The largely passive MoEDAL detector, deployed at Interaction Point 8 on the LHC ring, relies on two dedicated direct detection techniques. [...]

Capillary detectors for high resolution tracking / Annis, P (Brussels U., IIHE) ; Bay, A (Lausanne U.) ; Bonekamper, D (Munster U., ITP) ; Buontempo, S (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Ereditato, A (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Fabre, J P (CERN) ; Fiorillo, G (Naples U. ; INFN, Naples) ; Frekers, D (Munster U., ITP) ; Frenkel, A (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) ; Galeazzi, F (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) et al.
We present a new tracking device based on glass capillary bundles or layers filled with highly purified liquid scintillator and read out at one end by means of image intensifiers and CCD devices. A large-volume prototype consisting of 5 × 105 capillaries with a diameter of 20 μm and a length of 180 cm and read out by a megapixel CCD has been tested with muon and neutrino beams at CERN. [...]

Search for $\nu_{\mu} \to \nu_{\tau}$ oscillation with the OPERA experiment in the CNGS beam / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA neutrino experiment in the underground Gran Sasso Laboratory (LNGS) was designed to perform the first detection of neutrino oscillations in direct appearance mode in the nu_mu to nu_tau channel, the nu_tau signature being the identification of the tau-lepton created in its charged current interaction. Measurement of charm production in neutrino charged-current interactions / Chorus Collaboration
The nuclear emulsion target of the CHORUS detector was exposed to the wide-band neutrino beam of the CERN SPS of 27 GeV average neutrino energy from 1994 to 1997. In total about 100000 charged-current neutrino interactions with at least one identified muon were located in the emulsion target and fully reconstructed, using newly developed automated scanning systems.
