The ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider: a description of the detector configuration for Run 3 / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS detector is installed in its experimental cavern at Point 1 of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. During Run 2 of the LHC, a luminosity of $\mathcal{L}=2\times 10^{34}\mathrm{cm}^{-2}\mathrm{s}^{-1}$ was routinely achieved at the start of fills, twice the design luminosity. [...]

EUDAQ $-$ A Data Acquisition Software Framework for Common Beam Telescopes / Ahlburg, P. (Bonn U.) ; Arfaoui, S. (CERN) ; Arling, J.-H (DESY) ; Augustin, H. (Heidelberg U.) ; Barney, D. (CERN) ; Benoit, M. (Geneva U.) ; Bisanz, T. (Gottingen U., II. Phys. Inst.) ; Corrin, E. (Geneva U.) ; Cussans, D. (Bristol U.) ; Dannheim, D. (CERN) et al.
EUDAQ is a generic data acquisition software developed for use in conjunction with common beam telescopes at charged particle beam lines. Providing high-precision reference tracks for performance studies of new sensors, beam telescopes are essential for the research and development towards future detectors for high-energy physics. Production and Integration of the ATLAS Insertable B-Layer / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
During the shutdown of the CERN Large Hadron Collider in 2013-2014, an additional pixel layer was installed between the existing Pixel detector of the ATLAS experiment and a new, smaller radius beam pipe. The motivation for this new pixel layer, the Insertable B-Layer (IBL), was to maintain or improve the robustness and performance of the ATLAS tracking system, given the higher instantaneous and integrated luminosities realised following the shutdown. Evaluation of novel KEK/HPK n-in-p pixel sensors for ATLAS upgrade with testbeam / Nagai, R (Tokyo Inst. Tech.) ; Altenheiner, S (Dortmund U.) ; Forshaw, D (Liverpool U.) ; Gallrapp, C (CERN) ; Lapsien, T (Dortmund U.) ; Troska, G (Dortmund U.) ; Kimura, N (Waseda U., RISE) ; Nakano, I (Okayama U.) ; Marchiori, G (Paris U., VI-VII) ; Yorita, K (Waseda U., RISE) et al.
A new type of n-in-p planar pixel sensors have been developed at KEK/HPK in order to cope with the maximum particle fluence of 1-3x10^1^6 1MeV equivalent neutrons per square centimeter (n_e_q/cm^2) in the upcoming LHC upgrades. Four n-in-p devices were connected by bump-bonding to the new ATLAS Pixel front-end chip (FE-I4A) and characterized before and after the irradiation to 2x10^1^5n_e_q/cm^2. [...]

Prototype ATLAS IBL Modules using the FE-I4A Front-End Readout Chip / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
The ATLAS Collaboration will upgrade its semiconductor pixel tracking detector with a new Insertable B-layer (IBL) between the existing pixel detector and the vacuum pipe of the Large Hadron Collider. The extreme operating conditions at this location have necessitated the development of new radiation hard pixel sensor technologies and a new front-end readout chip, called the FE-I4. [...]

Planar Pixel Sensors for the ATLAS Upgrade: Beam Tests results / Weingarten, J. ; Altenheiner, S. ; Beimforde, M. ; Benoit, M. ; Bomben, M. ; Calderini, G. ; Gallrapp, C. ; George, M. ; Gibson, S. ; Grinstein, S. et al.
Results of beam tests with planar silicon pixel sensors aimed towards the ATLAS Insertable B-Layer and High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) upgrades are presented. Measurements include spatial resolution, charge collection performance and charge sharing between neighbouring cells as a function of track incidence angle for different bulk materials. [...]
