Status of HVCMOS Developments for ATLAS / Peric, Ivan (KIT) ; Blanco, Roberto (KIT) ; Casanova Mohr, Raimon (IFAE) ; Ehrler, Felix (KIT) ; Guezzi Messaoud, Fadoua (UNIGE) ; Kramer, Christian (KIT) ; Leys, Richard (KIT) ; Prathapan, Mridula (KIT) ; Schimassek, Rudolf (KIT) ; Schoning, Andre (UHEI) et al.
This paper describes the status of the developments made by ATLAS HVCMOS and HVMAPS collaborations. We have proposed two HVCMOS sensor concepts for ATLAS pixels—the capacitive coupled pixel detector (CCPD) and the monolithic detector. [...]

Feasibility studies for a wireless 60 GHz tracking detector readout / Dittmeier, Sebastian (Heidelberg U.) ; Schöning, André (Heidelberg U.) ; Soltveit, Hans Kristian (Heidelberg U.) ; Wiedner, Dirk (Heidelberg U.)
The amount of data produced by highly granular silicon tracking detectors in high energy physics experiments poses a major challenge to readout systems. At high collision rates, e.g. [...]

Mu3e is a novel experiment searching for charged lepton flavor violation in the rare decay $\mu^+ \rightarrow e^+e^-e^+$. Decay vertex position, decay time and particle momenta have to be precisely measured in order to reject both accidental and physics background. [...]

Three-Dimensional Triplet Tracking for LHC and Future High Rate Experiments / Schöning, Andre (Heidelberg U.)
The hit combinatorial problem is a main challenge for track reconstruction and triggering at high rate experiments. At hadron colliders the dominant fraction of hits is due to low momentum tracks for which multiple scattering (MS) effects dominate the hit resolution. [...]

High-voltage pixel detectors in commercial CMOS technologies for ATLAS, CLIC and Mu3e experiments / Peric, Ivan (Heidelberg U.) ; Augustin, Heiko (Heidelberg U.) ; Backhaus, Malte (Bonn U.) ; Barbero, Marlon (Marseille, CPPM) ; Benoit, Mathieu (CERN) ; Berger, Niklaus (Heidelberg U.) ; Bompard, Frederic (Marseille, CPPM) ; Breugnon, Patrick (Marseille, CPPM) ; Clemens, Jean-Claude (Marseille, CPPM) ; Dannheim, Dominik (CERN) et al.
High-voltage particle detectors in commercial CMOS technologies are a detector family that allows implementation of low-cost, thin and radiation-tolerant detectors with a high time resolution. In the R/D phase of the development, a radiation tolerance of 10 15 n eq = cm 2 , nearly 100% detection ef fi ciency and a spatial resolution of about 3 μ m were demonstrated [...]

Measurement of the jet radius and transverse momentum dependence of inclusive jet suppression in lead-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Measurements of inclusive jet suppression in heavy ion collisions at the LHC provide direct sensitivity to the physics of jet quenching. In a sample of lead-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of approximately 7 inverse microbarns, ATLAS has measured jets with a calorimeter over the pseudorapidity interval |$\eta$| < 2.1 and over the transverse momentum range 38 < pT < 210 GeV. Measurement of the b-hadron production cross section using decays to $D^{*+}\mu^- X$ final states in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The b-hadron production cross section is measured with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, using 3.3 pb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, collected during the 2010 LHC run. The b-hadrons are selected by partially reconstructing $D^{*+}\mu^- X$ final states. [...]

Search for a Standard Model Higgs boson in the mass range 200-600 GeV in the $H \to ZZ \to l^+l^-q\bar{q}$ decay channel with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for a heavy Standard Model Higgs boson decaying via $H \to ZZ \to l^+l^-q\bar{q}$, where $l=e$ or $\mu$, is presented. The search uses a data set of pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb$^{-1}$ collected in 2011 by the ATLAS detector at the CERN LHC. [...]
