Abstract In this report recent studies made to understand the capability to discover and measure properties of SUSY particles with the ATLAS detector at LHC are presented. The first part of the report discusses the reconstruction of gluino, right-handed squarks and third generation squarks, whose decays give rise to complex hadronic signatures, for some mSUGRA benchmark points. In the second part, the potential of the ATLAS experiment is discussed for the Focus Point region of the mSUGRA parameter space.
