Abstract	The design of a MSGC module with a single gas volume and with the read-out electronics outside, allows a clean and fast assembly. It is well adapted to the large number of units which must be produced for the CMS forward tracker. Two prototypes of 4 substrates were realized for the CMS MF1 milestone. Their components And assembly are described here. the performance measured in a test beam is discussed in another note.
