Abstract | The Future Circular Collider (FCC), or the High-Energy Large Hadron Collider (HE-LHC), would require bending magnets operating at 16 T. The large quantity of high-performance conductor required for these projects can only be satisfied by using Nb$_{3}$Sn superconductor. This chapter summarizes the main design approaches and parameters for these dipole magnets. |
