Abstract Currently, four-dimensional techniques applied to higher-order calculations are under active investigation [1–8]. The main motivation for this is the need to simplify perturbative calculations necessary to cope with the precision requirements of the future LHC and FCC experiments. In this contribution, I review the four-dimensional regularisation or renormalization (FDR) approach [9] to the computation of NNLO corrections in four dimensions
