Description
MATHUSLA is a proposal for a large surface detector to search for neutral ultra long-livedparticles produced at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It is currently in the design stage. Thisproject involves taking simulated physics events and calculating the geometric acceptance for variousdetector layouts. The results will be combined with site-specific constraints at the LHC as well asmanufacturing practicalities to arrive at the eventual detector layout.
