Abstract | Naturalness arguments for weak-scale supersymmetry favour supersymmetric partners of top quarks and Higgsinos with masses not too far from those of their Standard Model counterparts. The increase in the center of mass energy of the proton-proton collisions gives us a unique opportunity to extend the sensitivity of the production of these supersymmetric particles at the Large Hadron Collider. This talk presents recent ATLAS and CMS results from searches for direct stop, sbottom and electroweakino pair production using 2015+2016 data at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV. These searches include several final states with leptons, jets and missing transverse momentum. |
