Abstract	The Eurisol neutron source produces spallation neutrons from a proton beam impacting dense liquid metal. In the source of the closed type, known as the CGS design, liquid metal circulating at high speed inside the source creates time-varying pressure loads on the structure of the target.The purpose of the current report is to examine the influence of the hydraulic loads in terms of stresses and displacements of the target structure.
