Item Flower
Item Flowers are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]
Location and Uses
Phantom Hourglass
In Phantom Hourglass, Item Flowers are plants with glass-like bulbs that appear in the Goron Temple. They can be destroyed with the Sword or other weapons to obtain Items such as Bombs and Arrows. Their bulbs regrow after 10 seconds, allowing Link to replenish his stock.
Spirit Tracks
Item Flowers in Spirit Tracks are similar to their appearance in Phantom Hourglass, though they are more common, appearing in all of the game's Dungeons. Their bulbs can now be picked and thrown, or blown away with the Whirlwind, and can be used to activate Shock Switches from a distance. The bulbs regrow after six seconds. In addition to Items such as Bombs and Arrows, Item Flowers can also produce Hearts and Rupees.
Trivia
- When containing bombs, unlike a bomb flower, allows Link to store in his inventory, since bomb flowers in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks cannot be picked up and stored.
