It's shown hand knotted on durable black waterproof polyester cord. I allow about 3" to 4" extra inches so you can slide your anklet easily over your foot and it closes with an adjustable slide knot; no clasps to fuss with. **Unfortunately, I can not offer a refund for ordering an incorrect size. The size you order is the smallest size the anklet will close up to and then the anklet will expand open 3"-4" inches larger to get over your foot.
