Victorian Gold Locket with Cannetille details, black enamel and seed pearl

Beautiful gold locket with a four point star pattern, enhanced with black enamel, cannetille details, and a seed pearl at the center. The pearl setting has a eight petals flower shape, onto which prongs are added. The locket has a matte gold finish, with beautiful patina to it. The back is plain. On the last picture the locket is shown worn on an antique watch chain which is also available in the shop. Details: The locket dates from the Victorian era, 1850-1900. It is not stamped and I believe made of a gold plated metal. At the bottom of the back facet, one can see scratches for gold testing, it reveals the layer of gold is quite thick. Condition: The locket is in very good antique condition, with only gentle surface wear, scratches and a beautiful patina to the gold plating. No dent that I can see. Inside the two original rings and glass covers are present. It closes tightly. The bale is original and soldered. The locket is sold with a new 18" gold filled chain that is stamped 1/20 14k GF at the clasp.
