Each of our hand made canoes are a stunning piece of craftsmanship to light up your home. Rugged and built to last. Made in USA. Our "Canoe Chandeliers" are a one of a kind light, that is both beautiful to look at and superb for lighting up the Great Room, pool table, dining room, boat house, or anywhere that shows off your good taste. Every canoe is carefully built by a skilled craftsman by gluing wood strips over a set of forms. Sanding and trimming till the desired canoe takes shape. Then it is stained or can be painted if desired. A layer of reinforcing cloth and multiple coats of epoxy are applied to ensure it will last through years of tough conditions that may be found in a seasonal camp or lake cabin. Finally it is finished with hand shaped Red Cedar toe rails, deck caps, thwarts and real cane seats. Final sanding, then coats of semi-gloss polyurethane finish is applied. Lights and wiring are then installed. The shipping box is specially made to ensure safe delivery. As our saying goes "It is just like the Real Thing! It is an authentic E.M. White guide canoe, just smaller. Not only are they a great show and conversation piece for the canoeing enthusiast, but also an excellent source of lighting for the special place in your home, business or conference room. Every one is custom made to taylor the customers wishes, all at a very reasonable price. The canoe is light and comes with two hanging eyes. You supply the hanging chain. It comes with the 4" LED flat panel warm white lights that are the coolest light around.Dimmable to a low glow or bright light! Truly a nice lamp that we are now using in all the new chandeliers.
