You want to give it a good sanding to make sure that the paint adheres to it. Just make sure you wipe it off before you apply any paint to it. Grab a broomstick from Dollar Tree. You want to trace it to the bottom of that bowl. And what I ended up doing was drilling a hole at the bottom. Maybe don't do that because I ended up breaking the bowl but it was fixable. I ended up just Putting some tape inside since I'm not going to see it anyways. But to finish off opening that hole I just used my hot glue gun to make the hole a little bit bigger. I ended up making the hole a little too big. So what I'm going to do is trace out the bowl on some cardboard. Cut that out. Glue some floral foam that also came from Dollar Tree to the cardboard. You may have to trim it down a little bit to make sure that that bowl fits nicely on top of it. And then you want to just glue the bowl to the cardboard. Then you want to grab your broomstick handle. Put a generous amount of glue on the bottom of it and place it right inside of that floral foam. And you want to allow the hot glue to dry for about 5 minutes. I also grabbed a pool noodle from Dollar Tree. I ended up cutting this up into sections because I don't know how some of these creators put these pool noodles in the broomstick handles in one swoop. It was so difficult for me but doing it in sections was a little bit easier. Just make sure that you lined them up with the cut edge. I then got this cute lantern also came from Dollar Tree. I put some Dollar Tree fix all adhesive glue or you could use E six thousand with a generous amount of hot glue. Place that right on top. Allowed that to dry for about 5 minutes. And then I just went in with some black spray paint. And no I didn't even bother covering up the candle inside with painter's tape because the switch to turn it on is at the bottom Anyways and we already glued it down. But don't worry I have something else in mind. I then grab this garland from Dollar Tree. Began hot gluing it to the bottom and just wrapped it around the pole and once you get to the top just glue it down so that way it stays in place. I then just added a bow using some hot glue. Hold that in place. Then I got some fairy lights from Dollar Tree and just fed that into the lantern and turned it on and Ta the. This is the cutest lamp post on the block. I think this came out so cute. It was super inexpensive to create. I hope this inspires you to create your own in your own special way. If it did, please be sure to sprinkle the love. Thank you so much and I hope you have a good rest of your day. Bye.
