The DOM style textIndent property returns and modify the indentation of the first line of text of an element in an HTML document.
Syntax
Following is the syntax −
Returning textIndent
object.style.textIndent
Modifying textIndent
object.style.textIndent = “value”
Values
Here, value can be −

| inherit | It inherits this property value from its parent element. |
| initial | It set this property value to its default value. |
| percentage(%) | It sets the value in terms of percentage width of parent element. |
| length | It sets the value in terms of length units. |
